Basically 5,000 mile intervals for oil changes, I use LM engine flush at every oil change became these engines do get gummed up with thick oil due to 10,000 mile oil change intervals, the key is to drain out all the soot possible, because all this soot gets recirculated from exhaust by EGR valve back in to engine , if not flushed , eventually causes clogged DPF, which is $$, and all kinds of emissions issues. I do add createc every 20,000 it has significantly improved the performance of the engine , and I mean very significantly, and also increased its longevity obviously. I started createc and engine flush at 50,000 realizing it’s not too late to flush all the crap out and open the engine up

@@MolotovGarage Thank you for the thorough information. I have always been sceptical about other products going into the engine oil but maybe should consider at the the engine flush from time to time.

Great job and awesome mileage on the GL. Has she been reliable especially the emissions which have a bad reputation on these? How many miles you do before changing the engine oil and are you having any oil consumption between oil changes? Why did you use the LM engine flush and ceratec? Have you noticed any benefits in using those and do you apply the engine flush in every oil change? I have a W166 ML with the same engine, its an awesome car and I change my oil every 4,000 miles.
