Lol I'll never get over that dumbass look Howard makes when Jamie pulls up the theory of everything. He's such a poser when he's not playing the victim
My only problem w EW here was that his explanations were way too complicated. He didn't need to go into logarithms and such to explain why 1x1=1. I majored in math (years ago) and even I had trouble following that.
He missed a lot of opportunities, too. He should have pressed him more on the "it's just a metaphor" bit he's saying now. Like, so you're completely backing off on it now? You don't believe that any more? That's funny because you wrote an entire f***ing book on it, and it seems like it was at the core of all your theories.
I also wish he had called TH out when he started to talk about the Dewey Decimal System, lol. Like, Terrence, what do you mean when you say that term? No, it's a method of organizing books in a library. So you see, when you make such fundamental mistakes like that, it makes people not take anything else you say seriously. Etc.
@@wrc1210 I feel he did that on purpose. He knew straight away that if he pressed hard, he would fold pretty quickly. This is also why he didn't let Terrence go down his rabbit holes of ideas and tried to keep him on some sort of track that he could work with. It wasn't an easy task by any means.
I didn't mind the logarithmic route, I even learned something there. Definitely something I forgot from undergrad.

A lot of people saying Eric is basically in the same boat as Terrance for his theory. But thats not true, Eric learned math and physics, and he has asked for help from people with stronger skills to help him finish it. He doesnt think that math and physics is broken, he thinks the community is.

A guy says 1x1=2 and you don't know Eric Weinstein thinks the scientific community should be taking him seriously? If you can't call someone and idiot suffering from Dunning Kruger then when can you?
he’s obviously in his feels because the greater scientific community recognizes he’s a bit of a clout chasing quack too
@chiball the point of Eric coming on this podcast is to show there really isn't a "greater scientific community". It's actually a very closed circle of information hoarding narcissists.
@@jeffersonbuckles8905 well he didn’t really show that in any meaningful way. to me, it seems like he showed that terrence and him are information-fabricating narcissists. he obviously has a chip on his shoulder because there were holes in his theory of geometric unity. instead of working on improving his theory with feedback from academics, he comes on the joe rogan experience to use terrence howard’s experience with neil to lampoon academia. he’s using the same mental gymnastics terrence does: “i can’t be wrong, the establishment is trying to hold me down”. not to say there aren’t faults in academia, but eric’s ego was on full display here. to him, it’s personal.
He also kept saying a calculator won't say it'll result in 1. there's a room full of computers and smartphones. At leats 2-4 different operating systems should be present (not that it matters but just in case why not right?) and just type that shit in on the spot. The result is the same, every single time on every single computer/calculator.
@@admiralspirebut then they wouldnt have got a 4 hour podcast out of it. Eric can be very succint but he can stretch things out for hours with the best of them as well.
Having Terrance Howard on twice in a matter of weeks in 2024 should be a giant red alarm for the state of JRE
Well said , maybe ratings are down.
Rogan has always been a blowhard with occasionally good guests and occasionally good insight and questions. But more often a blowhard. Why'd you guys need Terrence to reveal this about him.
It's not that serious roflmao
@@StevePeckatr0n Yes it is; Joey's just trying to milk views and it's not even for entertainment's sake
not if you look at the views
This is a perfect example of Credentialism in our society.
Even in health and diets it's the same.
What got everything buzzing about Terrance is when Terrance brought up Neil DeGrasse Tyson on the first episode
He's clearly unwell
He's fine but maybe wrong about his views and at least he willing to consider he may have gone around it the wrong way. Kundos to Eric, JRE and Terrance
Both of them

It felt like Eric Weinstein was praising Eric Weinstein for majority of the POD. Then took a polite dump on Terrence's Theorys.
It is odd how he puts himself in his responses
It’s not a theory lmao theories need more evidence
Pretty accurate, he also shit on NDT while treating Howard worse
@@nicklinc1 it would be great if NDT posted a response clip to Eric. In the same calm demeanour that he did for Terrence’s paper, he could just rip into Eric’s theory page by page. Boss move haha
Joe doesn't have guests on to argue and debate with them. He just wants to have a conversation. It's not for news it's not for education
Eric told Terrance his homework was beautiful and then put it up on this fridge.
Eric- You've been playing a large roll in my thinking.
Joe- Well...That's a problem 😂🤣😂
I was looking for this comment 😂😂💀💀💀
Redbar chooses Terrenceology over warts
Redbar is watching. Can't wait to see his coverage on this.

In 2024, you don't need peer reviews. You have the resources to put your theories to practice. Especially Terrence.
Eric Weinstein's theory of everything is kinda dumb too
Being smarter than Terrence is like being able to beat up a child, it's actually sad and embarrassing to be proud of
I didn't even graduate hs and I'm smarter than TH 😂
Who tf is saying they’re proud? Why you making stuff up
What’s dumb about it?
@@survivaltipsandtricks4042 You really think youre going to get a well thought out response to that question?
😂😂😂😂
Too many flat earth enthusiasts buy what Terrence is selling.
Cause they think it justifies their bullshit. It's the same tactic the church did to most of Europe from the Crusades to the Renaissance. Terrance coming up with some half cocked meth head bullshit is all the evidence they think they need to spout their useless moronic balderdash. They fail to realize everyone in the scientific community has basically debunked his theory on basic logic alone. Tyson stated as much. Just like how Marco Polo, Columbus and Ponce de Leon, Amerigo Vespucci, all debunked the clergical myth that the Earth is flat
Do they? That's ironic as his theory of solar system expansion and the sun pooping out planets, relies of spherical models of the sun and planets. 😅
I felt Eric did very well w Mr Howard and Joe overall. But I did respectfully disagree w his characterization of Neil and his interactions w Mr Howard but just imo
In music, the most successful aren’t the ones who are the best but the ones who are most entertaining. The Eric Weinstein and Terrance Howard podcast was entertaining.and they all got what they wanted out of it. Who cares? How many people who watched it knew or cared what they were talking about?
Terrance Howard is insane 😂
He's fine.
No, he definetely is not fine. @@will4us

I thought Eric killed it on this. He wasn't overly nice, but made sure terrance didn't feel like they were ganging up on him.
He really did nail it. It was superb.
I was impressed with Eric Weinstein bringing some reality to Howard. Then i read about Weinstein's own background, and I was less impressed. Your analysis here really hit the nail on the head.
Hilarious that Eric thinks Joe should have been able to call out Terrence on 1x1=2.
I think Eric is saying podcasts are important AS LONG AS the podcaster does his job of challenging their guest if what they say is silly.
Joe challenges as long as he doesn't believe in it.

@@DG-kr8pt It is a real image of me, and I'm assuming this is an insult somehow lol.
I thought Neil was respectful in his response video. There’s no need to humor an actor who has no respect for the hard work done by predecessors.
Exactly, I don't understand why some people think you have to coddle an actor in a field where literal geniuses have been developing and debunking theories for hundreds of years. It's so disrespectful.
@@WoolfJ35 Newton and Leibniz would have a stroke hearing this fraud 😂
How Eric was able to reasonably explain the obvious bullcrap was amazing. That guy is smart on different levels.
Rogan should have a guest like this together with Dave Smith aka Terrence Howard of politics.
To even say that the guy couldn’t understand the language that Terrence Howard was speaking and saying, shows how individuals will try to belittle new information just because it’s not reciprocating to him saying that he don’t know him and don’t understand what he saying because he don’t know Terrence personally
Just incase someone is wondering, I just went to my calculator and checked. 1x1 still equals 1
Well of course your calculator would say that, it's made by "the Establishment" And the "Establishment" is always trying to "Keep a brother down"
There is no "reputable scientific establishment". It's just information hoarding narcissists attempting to discredit the greatest mind of our generation.
In case you're wondering, yeah, I'm being facetious.
If they'd done that in the studio they wouldn't have got a 4 hour video out of it.

Anybody else still want eric to explain why 1×1=2 is wrong? Terrance explained why he thought it was but then eric just says "youre wrong".

Terrence went with “garlic makes my feet stink” when presented with a math equation.
Wtf? The weinstein guy tries to tell him why he has made an error and Howard replies with "garlic makes my feet stink"...
It bugs me when ppl can't stay on topic, go off on a tangent and then act like you are dumb because you don't understand their rambling tangent, that is supposedly tied in to the question.
Classic defense mechanism. My mom uses it all the time. Randomly changing the subject, playing victim, etc.

It was a joke basically saying that he didn't understand what he said because what Eric was saying at that moment was too high IQ for him. Hence what that sounded like to him is the same as garlic makes my feet stink. Sadly it ain't that deep bro. Basically what he said with that was "I have no clue what you just said".
You lack comprehension skills and further proof you weren’t following along. Terrance responded that way because he thought Eric was also sharing bs at that moment with his “lynchpin being made from an error”
