I Dry Aged with the HOTTEST Sauce in the World (9 million Scoville)

- I enjoy eating spicy foods but some things are just WAY too hot. I learned that this extract is one of those things... But what happens if it’s added to a roast prior to dry aging? This whole experiment was a roller coaster of emotions, but we finally answer that question

I love how peppers evolved to become spicy to be able to protect themselves from animals, just for humans to put it on almost everything
I believe humans have had a hand in selectively breeding peppers to be hotter than they naturally were to begin with.
Yeah peppers wouldn’t get that spicy without selective breeding
Ikr
Lol. They didnt evolve. Humans modified and selectively bred them for heat.
You would think that peppers would want to not be spicy, because they want animals to eat them and spread the seeds through the feces
“Meant to be used in small amounts only”
Max the meat guy-“so I proceed to pour the whole bottle”
the toilet be like: right im out
💀
lol
I used to have the same pfp
Lol
Super hot peppers/sauces are no joke. In this case, I think it was pretty neutered from cooking in butter and a lot of it being cut off. But I dehydrated ghost peppers from my garden and was making pepper flakes with them. Crushing them up, I didn't use gloves because I had never had an issue before. My hands felt like they had sunburn for the next 3 days
I'm pretty sure this thing is closer to a concentrate then a sauce.
@@brennanmarsh1572reduction
I've crushed them as well. The first time I dealt with them I knew to use gloves from working with other peppers, but I didn't realize the dust was going to cause other issues. After about 10 minutes my eyes were dying and it was getting hard to breathe, so now I know to have gloves AND a mask and eye protection
I once got a drop of a 7 mil shu extract on my finger. It burnt for two days, felt it for 3.
Gargling with black tea then spitting it out then swallowing another cup of tea with milk will help after really spicy food and if you put tea on skin it will strip oil away
Awesome video Max! This was a terrible decision 😜 great mind think alike!!! I am just glad we are still alive 🤣 Miss you brother!
Love you Guga!
do a collab pleease 😭
Guga, make sure Angel gets his daily dose of greens...
Guga just released a video on this exact same thing 3 hours before the release of max’s video

(Bites into jalapeño, seeds and all.)
“That was stupid.”
(Proceeds to use water, which only spreads the oils around the mouth, thus making the problem worse.)
(while drinking it straight off the sink)
@@ronplayzroblox6355 what’s wrong with that? Isn’t it the same as drinking water from a bottle?
@@grammarpolice8909 Water is useless to handle spice, you want milk
@@grammarpolice8909 It just adds a level of bad decision.
@@ameliasellers6396 How?
I think it'd be cool if you made a nice hot pepper pure out of like some ghost peppers or some Carolina reapers, but used good herbs and seasonings before you dry aged it. So that its super spicey, but it has nice flavors going on and doesn't taste chemically.
New video idea: since the steak gives no hint of spiciness invite one of your friends at home, say to them that you made a fantastic dinner with a new recepie that you found online, then after you invite him you hide all the milk and bread that you have in your house, when he arrives you first offer him some random stuff like potatoes or something like that so he trustes, after that you give him the steak which gives no hint of spiciness but you know well that it's made with that liquid death, when he is about to bite it you say that you are going to the bathroom but instead you lock the kitchen doors and hear him suffer.
So basically kill him
You’re so cruel
“new video idea: ruin your friendships”
I like the way you think. 😂 Me and my friend USED to brainstorm things like this.
calm down jimothy
The dry aging killed it, believe me if that thing retained even 10% of how spicy it normally is, you would be in hell
We know
Dry aging did not get read of the heat
@@VicSellsPeace it did. Freshness of the sauce and half of it being not edible because of the dry process
@@VicSellsPeace well it’s mostly because it’s a thick liquid that only allowed the bare minimum to get into the rest of the meat while the rest of the spices that make the sauce so hot get cut off when he trimmed the outer layer off
But yes, dry aging it required the inedible parts to be cut off so it did infact remove the heat
Crazy lol.
I love how Ordinary Sausage did the exact opposite of Max & Guga today. He boiled a fresh steak in melted ice cream.
Yeah
You can't watch Max without also watching Guga and Ordinary Sausage
Close to milksteak as you get. Charlie would be proud
And Guga Foods did the same too as Max, albeit even hotter. Which was posted same time.
Even used the same "Looks like Mars" description.
Hmmm, is there a secret circle of these meat channels?
@@catwithshades7577 They definitely talk about content together as to provide the best for the viewers and to better all their channels as a whole.
Really cool how he showed eating various levels of spice so we can see where he is on spice tolerance, it really made it more enjoyable to see his honest reaction at the end. Keep it up Max!
ROAD TO 5MIL KEEP GOING!!!
also 🔥 vid as always.
mad dog plutonium is basically pure oleoresin. its for people who make big batches of chili or hot sauce who wanna kick up the heat without changing the flavor. im honestly surprised you didnt desrcibe a battery acid flavor, since thats often what sauces with too much oleoresin in them taste like to me
is this the same aroma as in bitter IPA beer? for me it's rather disgusting, i always describe IPAs as car battery juice
How do you know what battery acid tastes like?
He did say the steak tasted like chemicals
Yeah, it’s surprising. Maybe it’s cause the other seasonings dried down a bit, or because the hot sauce itself dried? It wouldn’t surprise me; instead of a sticky viscous stuff, it became… almost sludge, but not quite, basically not thin enough to get into crevices of your tongue, and getting rid of some of the acid part, only leaving heat? I dunno, I ain’t a chemist.
Literally they taste like mdma
I used to eat habaneros straight up when I felt too lazy to make a salsa, obviously I took small bites but overall habanero has a great flavor I can't find in other peppers or spices
I usually add my habanero salsa to ramen and it’s so good lmao
habaneros have such a brilliant sweet flavor if you can get used to the pain, they really are unique
Habanero straight up is better. Most store bought Habanero sauces aint that spicy.
Habaneros are my favorite pepper by far
A few years ago I was really into hot stuff and had some "Dave's beyond insanity hot sauce" , and I added to what I was stir frying... Needless to say we had the same experience as it was like I tear gassed the house.
Dave's is good stuff. In tiny amounts.
As someone who has eaten an hobenaro pepper I can say it is WAY HOTTER than max made it seem
Guga and Max uploading the same experiment on the same day is kind of nice, we get to see 2 perspectives on the level of heat
I was just thinking to comment that 😁
Didn’t Guga Foods just release the same exact video on the same day????
Yeah
yes
Probably did the vid in solidarity with the hot sauce
I am guessing that, all of them are sponsored or whatever you call it...
I was just thinking this
I am going to start professional cooking this year, and I might make this for my brother later on, he loves spicy things.
I was not expecting max to heart my comment but thank you.

The Melinda's ghost pepper sauce is a really great thing to add to burgers. I usually put several drops on any McDonald's I get, or on my lunch at work. I started with that stuff to get my spice tolerance up lol
Ghost pepper is the best casual superhot pepper
@@spicymeatballs2thespicening I've got the whole hot ones line up in the fridge, even the last dab is nice on potstickers lol
@@spicymeatballs2thespicening thats actually so true, its hot without being insane and ghost pepper tends to have really good flavor. I'm also really partial to reaper based hot sauces too especially when they're smoky
Yeah, Jenna Ortega said the same thing. I like the last dab's flavor to be honest.

* max drinking the water*
Max: why is it spicy?
Love these videos!
It probably didn't taste outrageously spicy because the stuff that makes hot sauce hot is fat soluble, so when you cooked the steak and some of the fat cooked down, it probably broke down a lot of the heat.
He also cut most of it off
Such a great video to watch, Much love Max!! I also got notifications on for when you post.
Ima get that bottle and see how my spice tolerance is, apparently for me spice just affects the flavor and doesn't actually "burn" my mouth. So I feel like having some of that is the equivalent of drinking vinegar straight from the bottle.
Jawn looked like Vecna when you pulled it out
Guga and Max both doing this on the same day... Sounds like a competition im excited to witness.
Max, easily my favourite video you've done. Seriously entertaining, with a little bit of learning in there!....
(Like, don't buy that sauce! 😂)
Funny how now he discovers that capsaicin is oil based. That is why you can't get the burn off with water. The burn in Horse raddish, wasabi and mustard is caused by allyl isothiocyanate that is water based so the burn goes away quick. Love your content. :)
Props to max for risking his life for our entertainment 🔥🔥

Hahahaha. My friends and I used black mamba sauce (similar scoville to this) on shrimp and cooked them in a pan for quesadillas and we had to evacuate the house too. The shrimp ended up decently good, just hot AF 🤣
Black mamba is 2 million. But it is very good. That company makes mongoose that’s 3 million.
Reminds me about when my dad made some sauce when Max was searing the steak😂
Everything about this said dont do it 😂😂❤
idk if yall noticed this but when hes eating habanero at 4:31 as he takes the bite youll see a cloud formation. look at the halabenero while he takes the bite
Yep
I had to turn up the brightness to see it
Funny that Guga uploaded the same Video today as you. Both great videos.
Love your editing.
Capsaicin, the substance that makes peppers spicy, is not water soluble, so it doesn't surprise me at all the drop didn't dilute in your bottle.
That's also why milk/cream or alcohol, and not water, are what to use to reduce get rid of the heat after eating spicy foods.
BTW, I also learned the hard way about attempting to sear something coated with spice. I had used a ghost pepper powder ,and immediately regretted trying to put the sear on indoors.
The Fact He Did The Spice Test With With Crackers 😂😂
wow. this was extremely entertaining. Thank you for doing this!

About that burning skin -- If you got super hot hot sauce like this on your skin in the future, I am quite certain that actual gasoline could have cleared that up right away. I would try mineral spirits, or paint thinner, first before using gas to clean your skin. I have used gas to clean quite a few things off myself like asphalt tar, crazy tree sap, oil based paint, other sealants like construction adhesive. You can clean the gasoline off your skin much faster than just straight water and dawn dish soap that cleans just about everything.
