Kizaru never wanted the fleet admiral position and choose to follow the one who won the duel between Aokiji and Akainu, and the loser of the duel left.
I feel like the cross guild is unique. I wouldn’t say the strongest because they need more hitters. Honestly even though they have a lot of new recruits I feel that that’s more-so manpower. Most of these lower level recruits wouldn’t even survive a conq burst. I’d even say they have a weaker power than the Strawhats. This is still a great video
Yea narratively, if straw hats had to face off against cross-guild zoro has to be fulfilling his dream and defeating mihawk or some kind of draw happens and they can’t finish. Besides mihawk there’s no one else to really keep the rest of the straw hats busy

They are going to buff Crocodile 100% so there is that. Cross guild is just meant to show that Zoro is Yonko level by beating their strongest member and becoming the world ls greatest swordsmen but I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a few other members. Also people view Buggy as comedic relief but if you’ve paid attention most of the “light hearted” moments with Buggy everyone is laughing but Buggy is ALWAYS dead serious. He’s written to be a tragic clown like dark knights “joker” he’s also pretty smart and known as “the genius jester” I think Buggy could legit devise a plan to get one over on some of the top tiers. Lot of ways Oda can use Cross guild because of the dynamic.
luffy also has the most influence there by far, he has nations ready to go to war for him. wano, alabasta, fishman island, dressrosa, amazon lily, the revolutionary army, the strawhat grandfleet, and he has the power of pluton and poseidon at his disposal. he also has three road poneglyphs, and so far seems like cross guild has zero.
bro, i didn't want to comment but, there are some points that do not make sense at all 1. mihawk being above YONKO - No for me, at the same level but definitely not above 2. Big mom and Kaido are not equal, kaido is above 3. kizaru is not interested in becoming a fleet admiral that doesn't mean he is weaker that the other two at all.
My name is messing around but realistically Mihawk has to be above Yonko. He's a major final battle which means his all-out powers have to outperform everyone we've seen. Same applies to characters like Dragon, Shanks, and a much later Imu. Oda saves them till the end because he plans to have to them eclipse everything before them. Same reason we haven't seen Roger in a full fight. Kaido also said Haki reigns above all, which is what Mihawk has to have near max proficiency in. It's just basic power progression to keep the battles fresh.
This is a valid take, I also think the rest of the luffys opponents ( Doflamingo, Gecko ect) will also join the cross guild, making it the definitive best yonko crew
It would be cool if they recruit Moria, Boa, Weevil and maybe even Doflamingo and with perhaps even Law seeking refuge with them. It would be hilarious if Warlords all just band together and form their own super pirate crew. Beautiful middle finger at the world gov.

I want to take this a step further and suggest that Cross Guild might also employ many of Luffy's past opponents from East Blue and the 1st Half of the Grand line, all looking forward to getting revenge, with each one having a connection to one of the Straw hats, and we already see that with the main trio. So I'm making these predictions for future cross guild members and the straw hat they'd be associated with Buggy- Luffy Crocodile- Robin Mihawk- Zoro Arlong- Nami/Jinbei Wapol- Chopper Kuro- Usopp Gecko Moria- Brook Senor Pink-Franky Bon Clay- Sanji admittedly, Franky and Sanji's are a stretch, but i had trouble thinking of other iconic characters who'd join cross guild that're associated with em. But the point is, Buggy would likely attract all those who have had beef with Luffy and his crew before and Cross guild could be the biggest love letter to the Many villains we've encountered over the years. Also rather than using Garp to attract the straw hats and get their poneglyths, if Wapol joins, they could possibly use Vivi as a lure as well. Being that the two are together and if cross guild crosses paths with big news morgan to force the birb to make them propaganda, that could be a way she could end up in their hands.

Cross guild as it is cant handle the marines alone. Like inagine if one of the giresi comes down and personally sees to the destruction of cross guild as they are big threat with the bountys. A gorsie alone can solo mihawk and and croc and wipe out the fodder. Then you also have imu the final boss and his group of lacky celestial dragon warriors.
I really think calling crocodiles feats trash is kinda not true. I feel from a certain point of view and angle he got done dirty cause of underrestimating Luffy and Luffy's insane plotarmor. He still killed at marineford so I always got a sense that he was stronger then let on and was done dirty. Let's also be fair Oda hadn't planned to make one piece that long yet so it kinda makes sense why Crocodile looks nerfed. Like no one could argue he shouldn't have won alabasta several times over if not for plot armor.

It is clear that Mihawk and Shanks are both above all other Yonkou in 2023 at least. Yoru is cutting Kaido into pieces, he couldnt even take Oden and Oden is not Mihawk. Big Mom gets bodied as well because you can be dead sure that Mihawk and Shanks have both DF-cancelling observation Haki and infused conquerors, nobody is blocking their sword strikes unless you are top of the verse with weapons and those two are not. Cross Guild has 1 advantage: Anonymity. Which is to say the Navy can't just predict when civilians will go rogue and turn on them individually. Mihawk is the strongest Swordsman, yes, and he hunts fleets of ships for fun on a whim, but that also means that he could just as easily leave Cross Guild on a whim too. Crocodile has the brains and strategizing down. Baroque Works was only exposed thanks to Nico Robin sabotaging it herself. He knows how to run a criminal organization with a long term plan. Buggy and pretty much all of the Buggy pirates are nowhere close to a threat to even Chopper on his weakest day, much less anyone outside of civilians. They keep talking about the strong pirates that broke out from Impel Down but we've yet to actually SEE that aspect in action.

The cross guild just needs more commander level fighters or atleast 1 other high level fighter. Fully depending on Mihawk to fight another Yonko crew just aint gonna work out unless he really is just himothy and can carry THAT hard. Croc if i had to guess is somewhere around YC1 level, maybe breaking somewhere into admiral level. Even if we give Croc the benefit of the doubt and give him some crazy highball, lets say hes admiral level (Aka equal to Kizaru) that still wouldnt be enough to fight another Yonko crew. For example, Lets say the cross guild went vs the Red Haired Pirates, Shanks fights Mihawk, Beckmann fights Croc.....and then the rest of Shank's crew have nobody to keep them occupied, nobody to stop them. They would either annihilate the fodder first or just ignore the fodder and jump croc and Mihawk which would result in the cross guild getting bodied. If they had a bunch of commander level people that huge issue would be solved and they would definitely be the strongest crew for now imo.

Blackbeard getting the better of shanks only is more impressive when you consider Shanks' haki. Perhap's it's Blackbeard having multiple personalities, but he's capable of bypassing observation haki at the level of seeing 10 seconds into the future if we assume Shanks's haki was as capable then as now.

It's not like Shanks would be like "Yeah Blackbeard gave me this scar, but don't worry I can easily mid-diff him now", bringing it up at all was Shanks saying not to underestimate BB which carries the insinuation that Shanks was pretty strong at the time. I think people narrowed Shanks' age down to between 20-27 when he got the scar. It would've been a few years before he became Yonko, but for another perspective it would've been just before he was introduced in Luffy's Flashback where he already demonstrated Conquerers Haki.

Big mom is quite strong but I dont think that she is as strong or stronger than kaido. Simple explaination is the techniques that were used to defeat them. Haki was the main weapon for kaido and big mom lost because of teamwork and devil fruit powers.

Powerscaling does not work in One Piece. Shanks might be a strong hitter, but can´t even think about tanking as much as Kaido. Same for Big Mom. You can´t compare anyone in One Piece to one another, only in a 1v1 with a detailed descritpion. Edit: The thing with powerscaling is, that everybody can pull something out of their headcanon and make it work. It´s still not really possible. The thing that separates a Big Mom from a Kaido and Shanks and even Mihawk are nuances. They fight differently and this will turn out different in a certain fight. A Shanks might not kill a Kaido, but a Big Mom. Shanks might lose to Mihawk and Mihawk will win to a Kaido. You can´t compare it like this.
Mihawk easily wins against Kaidou case Oden a much weaker swordsman could cut Kaidou in his Dragon form. Mihawk has a even better sword and skills than him, so he´d easily cut kaido in two in the fight if he does get serious. Shanks has enough Observation haki to tackle Mihawk without easily being cut in two, but Mihawk pointed out with one hand he aint going to be able to parry his 2 handed sword slashes and that would be it for shanks.
its an organization led by mihawk and crocodile. buggy, daz bonez, and galdino are direct subordinates of crocodile. alvida has an alliance with buggy but is clearly considered a part of this organization, therefore, she is also a subordinate. buggy has a legion of loyal followers that are subordinate to him. this is nothing like luffy and law's alliance at all and is far more comparable to a pirate crew. the only alliance in cross guild is between buggy and alvida, but again, she is clearly a subordinate in cross guild and not on equal footing with mihawk and crocodile, so the alliance the two of them have is irrelevant to her position within cross guild.
It´s kinda like a mix between Yonko crew and Alliance, Buggy could be considered the captain of Fame and Charisma, Crocodile the Captain of Money and Brains and Mihawk the Captain of Power and swordsmanship each is important to the crew but the key difference with most other yonko crews is that despite the marines wanting to put Buggy at the helm, there´s a actual trinity to the organization they dont have a captain commandeering the ship the 3 work together to run the show.

Lot of ways Oda can use Cross guild because of the dynamic.
luffy also has the most influence there by far, he has nations ready to go to war for him. wano, alabasta, fishman island, dressrosa, amazon lily, the revolutionary army, the strawhat grandfleet, and he has the power of pluton and poseidon at his disposal. he also has three road poneglyphs, and so far seems like cross guild has zero.

2. Big mom and Kaido are not equal, kaido is above

My name is messing around but realistically Mihawk has to be above Yonko. He's a major final battle which means his all-out powers have to outperform everyone we've seen. Same applies to characters like Dragon, Shanks, and a much later Imu. Oda saves them till the end because he plans to have to them eclipse everything before them. Same reason we haven't seen Roger in a full fight. Kaido also said Haki reigns above all, which is what Mihawk has to have near max proficiency in. It's just basic power progression to keep the battles fresh.

Black beard alone can solo mihawk and croc and the rest of the crew in a second. Shanks and his commaders can easily defeat mihawk and croc and the rest of the fodder wiped out in a instant. Liffy crew currenly may have a tough time gainst mihawak and croc, but as the story progresses we know zoro will beat mihawk, and luffy is already overpowered as fuck, and he can solo crocodile in a minute with gear 5 and then focus on mihawk with the help of sanji and zoro, and the rest of the crew can wipe out the fodder and help against mihawk
Cross guild as it is cant handle the marines alone. Like inagine if one of the giresi comes down and personally sees to the destruction of cross guild as they are big threat with the bountys. A gorsie alone can solo mihawk and and croc and wipe out the fodder. Then you also have imu the final boss and his group of lacky celestial dragon warriors.
My point is that the navy alone, which cross guild waged war against, can wipe them out if they ignore the other yonkos for a few days.
I really think calling crocodiles feats trash is kinda not true. I feel from a certain point of view and angle he got done dirty cause of underrestimating Luffy and Luffy's insane plotarmor. He still killed at marineford so I always got a sense that he was stronger then let on and was done dirty. Let's also be fair Oda hadn't planned to make one piece that long yet so it kinda makes sense why Crocodile looks nerfed. Cross Guild has 1 advantage: Anonymity. Which is to say the Navy can't just predict when civilians will go rogue and turn on them individually. Mihawk is the strongest Swordsman, yes, and he hunts fleets of ships for fun on a whim, but that also means that he could just as easily leave Cross Guild on a whim too. Crocodile has the brains and strategizing down. Baroque Works was only exposed thanks to Nico Robin sabotaging it herself. He knows how to run a criminal organization with a long term plan. Buggy and pretty much all of the Buggy pirates are nowhere close to a threat to even Chopper on his weakest day, much less anyone outside of civilians. They keep talking about the strong pirates that broke out from Impel Down but we've yet to actually SEE that aspect in action.

The cross guild just needs more commander level fighters or atleast 1 other high level fighter. Fully depending on Mihawk to fight another Yonko crew just aint gonna work out unless he really is just himothy and can carry THAT hard. Croc if i had to guess is somewhere around YC1 level, maybe breaking somewhere into admiral level. Even if we give Croc the benefit of the doubt and give him some crazy highball, lets say hes admiral level (Aka equal to Kizaru) that still wouldnt be enough to fight another Yonko crew. For example, Lets say the cross guild went vs the Red Haired Pirates, Shanks fights Mihawk, Beckmann fights Croc.....and then the rest of Shank's crew have nobody to keep them occupied, nobody to stop them. They would either annihilate the fodder first or just ignore the fodder and jump croc and Mihawk which would result in the cross guild getting bodied. If they had a bunch of commander level people that huge issue would be solved and they would definitely be the strongest crew for now imo.

Mihawk is still far above zoro in terms of strenght, mihawk could very much one shot the strawhats and then 1v1 luffy.

Perhap's it's Blackbeard having multiple personalities, but he's capable of bypassing observation haki at the level of seeing 10 seconds into the future if we assume Shanks's haki was as capable then as now.

It's not like Shanks would be like "Yeah Blackbeard gave me this scar, but don't worry I can easily mid-diff him now", bringing it up at all was Shanks saying not to underestimate BB which carries the insinuation that Shanks was pretty strong at the time. I think people narrowed Shanks' age down to between 20-27 when he got the scar. It would've been a few years before he became Yonko, but for another perspective it would've been just before he was introduced in Luffy's Flashback where he already demonstrated Conquerers Haki.

Cross Guild is a corparation, no longer a pirate crew. While they in name may be a pirate crew, they are slowly monopolizing pirating. I mean 3 Chief Officers (or captians), each filling a trait a captain needs but at its peak in each trait. The Cross Guild is the new world order

Powerscaling does not work in One Piece. Shanks might be a strong hitter, but can´t even think about tanking as much as Kaido. Same for Big Mom. You can´t compare anyone in One Piece to one another, only in a 1v1 with a detailed descritpion.
Edit: The thing with powerscaling is, that everybody can pull something out of their headcanon and make it work. It´s still not really possible. The thing that separates a Big Mom from a Kaido and Shanks and even Mihawk are nuances. They fight differently and this will turn out different in a certain fight. A Shanks might not kill a Kaido, but a Big Mom. Shanks might lose to Mihawk and Mihawk will win to a Kaido. You can´t compare it like this.
Mihawk easily wins against Kaidou case Oden a much weaker swordsman could cut Kaidou in his Dragon form.
Mihawk has a even better sword and skills than him, so he´d easily cut kaido in two in the fight if he does get serious.
Shanks has enough Observation haki to tackle Mihawk without easily being cut in two, but Mihawk pointed out with one hand he aint going to be able to parry his 2 handed sword slashes and that would be it for shanks.

its an organization led by mihawk and crocodile. buggy, daz bonez, and galdino are direct subordinates of crocodile. alvida has an alliance with buggy but is clearly considered a part of this organization, therefore, she is also a subordinate. buggy has a legion of loyal followers that are subordinate to him. this is nothing like luffy and law's alliance at all and is far more comparable to a pirate crew. the only alliance in cross guild is between buggy and alvida, but again, she is clearly a subordinate in cross guild and not on equal footing with mihawk and crocodile, so the alliance the two of them have is irrelevant to her position within cross guild.
It´s kinda like a mix between Yonko crew and Alliance, Buggy could be considered the captain of Fame and Charisma, Crocodile the Captain of Money and Brains and Mihawk the Captain of Power and swordsmanship each is important to the crew but the key difference with most other yonko crews is that despite the marines wanting to put Buggy at the helm, there´s a actual trinity to the organization they dont have a captain commandeering the ship the 3 work together to run the show.

I disagree. Cross guide is way to imbalanced to be but that high on the strength list. I have Shanks > Mihawk as well.

Mihawk has a title, granted it might not be false, but aside from that, he just coasts on that and the feats of others. Im not trying to downplay him, but ultimately, im going with what I've seen. If you got Mihawk > Shanks thats totally fine.

It's basically believing what you've been told vs. what you've seen. If a kid walks around claiming hes the toughest in the school but never fights other tough kids, at what point do you say okay prove it. Thats where im at with Mihawk.

There’s no way Kidd joins Luffy. It would be the opposite. Law has already saved Luffys life and worked with him extensively. Kidd would join cross guild (if he’s alive)
cross guild is by far the weakest crew, they have two heavy hitters. zoro and luffy could double mihawk while sanji and jinbei beat crocodile (fishman karate will be his downfall). other than that, they cant even face robin or chopper. also the red hair pirates are the strongest crew, then the bb pirates, then the strawhats, then last is cross guild.
Cross guild is by far the weakest yonko crew
