Alright let me explain how big are the universes rimuru destroyed. In the novel it says that the sizes of the universe were at least 367 billion light-years in diameter (tensura wn arc 8-9) thatâs bigger than dbs universe because Dragon Ball Universe has a maximum of only eighty galaxies(itâs in the dbs manga in the back cover youâll see a description and drawings of the dbs universe). And you do realize that the light novel will get animated soon it just takes time.
I understand the idea but 80 galaxies isnât a very good argument. Fictional galaxies donât have to be the same size as real life galaxies, they could be much bigger, and there can be a massive distance between them. What if there is infinite empty space between them for example. On top of that thereâs the areas where heaven, hell, Beerusâ planet, etc are located, heaven and hell each house every single living being to die while still being big enough to have massive empty spaces and we donât know how much space separates Beerusâ planet from heaven, again, adding more uncertainty. The size of the Dragon Ball Multiverse can range by a lot, itâs also not very consistent either you know, itâs been retconned multiple times. I wouldnât bet on something like that for scaling. Listen, I do believe Rimuru could beat most of Dragon Ball, unsure about Zeno and the Grand Priest, neither have shown much so I donât want to judge yet. Donât act like Iâm just defending Dragon Ball because I think Goku could beat everyone or some shit, Iâm not that stupid. Itâs just your scaling isnât very reliable here.
I think universe 7 is relatively TINY in volume in comparison to our own, and it's simply that planets are more densely packed into their universe. E.g. the characters can travel from one planet that has life to another planet that has life within the course of a year, which is insane even IF their ships moved at the speed of light. Though, I guess it's not saying as much because empty planets in DBZ seem to be as rare as planets with life in our world. Still, it is pretty insane. Unless we make the unlikely assumption that Yardrat, Old Namek, Earth, and wherever Vegeta came from were all in the same Quadrant, crossing the quadrants doesn't even take a light year. When characters mention galaxies in DBZ, I doubt they're referring to literal galaxies but something the size of solar systems at most. Literal galaxies are more than hundreds of light years worth of distance wide, which already dwarfs DBZ's universe like a skyscraper to an ant, and topping it off is that there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. The DBZ universe is like a pea to the sun compared to our own. It's still big enough for the Frieza Race to conqueror planets yearly for decades though. Story-wise, I get the impression that there is only 20~ish planets because we only see a select few, but actualy looking at it I'd say that there must be at least a few thousand planets with life. Anything short of that just means that, judging from Frieza's capabilities to conqueror, the Frieza Race has been reconqueroring planets that they've already conquerored. There was like millions of Saiyans, who'd probably conqueror planets as groups of dozens or hundreds at most, so that's a ton of planets to take yearly just off the back of Saiyans alone. There being few planets does make selling planets being lucrative make a lot more sense though, and I'd bet some races just bought planets like some weird protection racket thinking "Frieza is not going to conqueror the same planet twice."
@@milimnava2608 Pretty sure itâs stated that Namek is basically on the other side of the universe. I will say, at that point Toriyama wasnât thinking about the power that would be shown later. He though the fight against Frieda would be the end of the story so that can be seen as another inconsistency given how later scaling, imagery and statements would prove otherwise. Characters as early as Cell disprove a lot of previous statements. Dragon Ball isnât very consistent with its cosmology. Thatâs the problem with comparing Dragon Ball universal feats like the Goku-Beerus Clash in BoG. Itâs just really inconsistent. Reason being, Toriyama originally wanted to end at Frieza, the higher ups said no so he went on to the Androids, they said no, Cell, they said no, Buu. Stayed they there for a while until he was asked to continue onto BoG then Resurrection F Etc. You see where Iâm going with this, he is constantly forced to retcon his story because he is forced to continue the story he wanted to already end. An example of this happening is how in the movie BoG, Beerus states he was forced to use 70% of his power to fight Goku, but because the story had to continue, that was retconned in the anime to keep Beerus above Goku. 70% was originally supposed to be a true statement, not a lie to bring out more of his power like itâs stated in the anime. Same thing happened with the Grand Supreme Kai, which was explained as being weak against Buu because he was weakened by Moro.
In light novel volume 17 chapter 2, explained that "The universe is vast, but not as vast as the other WORLDS" So in conclusion tensura, World > Universe

As a fan of both series, I see this and watch as both sides overestimate Goku and Rimuruâs power and cringe. Both sides are blinded by their love for each series and lack of knowledge on the other. My two cents is while I watched Dragon Ball and read the manga in its entirety, Iâm on EOS Rimuruâs side for the most part. With the exception of being unsure about Zeno. Zeno has never shown his full power so itâs stupid to compare him to anyone yet. For all we know heâs not the strongest character in Dragon Ball.

Rimuru isnât Multiversal+ in the anime. Beelzebuth if it ran rampant with no limits is at most around universal. Then thereâs the infinite power scaling. Boundless isnât infinite, itâs much, much higher. Depending on the scaling not even Omnipotent characters are boundless. Comics Thanos with the infinity stones has infinite power yet heâs still limited, stated weaker than hundreds of other characters. Infinite power isnât the endgame in fiction. Hereâs why, top tier characters in fiction straight up surpass the concept of measuring power entirely meaning the idea of infinity which relies on growing numbers to exist isnât actually a word capable of describing even an infinitesimally small fraction of their power. And there are still characters above that. Same thing with manipulating principals of reality. Top tier characters again, donât follow reality in any way shape or form rendering literally ever single skill Rimuru has completely useless against them. As long as Rimuru uses skills he will never defeat those types of characters simply because skills are a concept. Concepts that top tier characters surpass. Donât get me wrong though, Rimuru is still really powerful. Up there with powerful gods.

Alright let me explain how big are the universes rimuru destroyed. In the novel it says that the sizes of the universe were at least 367 billion light-years in diameter (tensura wn arc 8-9) thatâs bigger than dbs universe because Dragon Ball Universe has a maximum of only eighty galaxies(itâs in the dbs manga in the back cover youâll see a description and drawings of the dbs universe). And you do realize that the light novel will get animated soon it just takes time.
Thatâs a lot of facts though. Afro Tsu hardly know anything about rimuru abilities.
I understand the idea but 80 galaxies isnât a very good argument. Fictional galaxies donât have to be the same size as real life galaxies, they could be much bigger, and there can be a massive distance between them. What if there is infinite empty space between them for example. On top of that thereâs the areas where heaven, hell, Beerusâ planet, etc are located, heaven and hell each house every single living being to die while still being big enough to have massive empty spaces and we donât know how much space separates Beerusâ planet from heaven, again, adding more uncertainty. The size of the Dragon Ball Multiverse can range by a lot, itâs also not very consistent either you know, itâs been retconned multiple times. I wouldnât bet on something like that for scaling.
Listen, I do believe Rimuru could beat most of Dragon Ball, unsure about Zeno and the Grand Priest, neither have shown much so I donât want to judge yet. Donât act like Iâm just defending Dragon Ball because I think Goku could beat everyone or some shit, Iâm not that stupid. Itâs just your scaling isnât very reliable here.
I think universe 7 is relatively TINY in volume in comparison to our own, and it's simply that planets are more densely packed into their universe. E.g. the characters can travel from one planet that has life to another planet that has life within the course of a year, which is insane even IF their ships moved at the speed of light. Though, I guess it's not saying as much because empty planets in DBZ seem to be as rare as planets with life in our world. Still, it is pretty insane. Unless we make the unlikely assumption that Yardrat, Old Namek, Earth, and wherever Vegeta came from were all in the same Quadrant, crossing the quadrants doesn't even take a light year. When characters mention galaxies in DBZ, I doubt they're referring to literal galaxies but something the size of solar systems at most. Literal galaxies are more than hundreds of light years worth of distance wide, which already dwarfs DBZ's universe like a skyscraper to an ant, and topping it off is that there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. The DBZ universe is like a pea to the sun compared to our own. It's still big enough for the Frieza Race to conqueror planets yearly for decades though. Story-wise, I get the impression that there is only 20~ish planets because we only see a select few, but actualy looking at it I'd say that there must be at least a few thousand planets with life. Anything short of that just means that, judging from Frieza's capabilities to conqueror, the Frieza Race has been reconqueroring planets that they've already conquerored. There was like millions of Saiyans, who'd probably conqueror planets as groups of dozens or hundreds at most, so that's a ton of planets to take yearly just off the back of Saiyans alone. There being few planets does make selling planets being lucrative make a lot more sense though, and I'd bet some races just bought planets like some weird protection racket thinking "Frieza is not going to conqueror the same planet twice."

He though the fight against Frieda would be the end of the story so that can be seen as another inconsistency given how later scaling, imagery and statements would prove otherwise. Characters as early as Cell disprove a lot of previous statements.
Dragon Ball isnât very consistent with its cosmology. Thatâs the problem with comparing Dragon Ball universal feats like the Goku-Beerus Clash in BoG. Itâs just really inconsistent. Reason being, Toriyama originally wanted to end at Frieza, the higher ups said no so he went on to the Androids, they said no, Cell, they said no, Buu. Stayed they there for a while until he was asked to continue onto BoG then Resurrection F Etc. You see where Iâm going with this, he is constantly forced to retcon his story because he is forced to continue the story he wanted to already end.
An example of this happening is how in the movie BoG, Beerus states he was forced to use 70% of his power to fight Goku, but because the story had to continue, that was retconned in the anime to keep Beerus above Goku. 70% was originally supposed to be a true statement, not a lie to bring out more of his power like itâs stated in the anime. Same thing happened with the Grand Supreme Kai, which was explained as being weak against Buu because he was weakened by Moro.
In light novel volume 17 chapter 2,

As a fan of both series, I see this and watch as both sides overestimate Goku and Rimuruâs power and cringe. Both sides are blinded by their love for each series and lack of knowledge on the other.
My two cents is while I watched Dragon Ball and read the manga in its entirety, Iâm on EOS Rimuruâs side for the most part. With the exception of being unsure about Zeno.
