1st one hits those high notes like a champ and with a lot of emotion

I felt the same-- it's too strained.
I really think there’s an unhealthy idea that singing high = singing well. Not to say she was bad, but there is value in singing comfortably in a lower register.

They were all good, the second to last one sounded really angelic but as a singer i understand pausing to take breaths but I feel like she did it between the weirdest words, like it didnt sound right just because of the breaths. And she was cutting off some of the words and sounded strained

The first girl started too powerful and it sort of sounded distorted and did not sound good working up to the higher notes. Most of it sounded very similar in the tone until getting to the higher notes when she transitioned upward. But the main premise of the song is to slowly get higher and higher as it goes on not stay in one place then move up at the last second. She needs a lot more work to control her voice on the lower notes
