- A healthier version of the very popular deep fried gujiya that people love to eat around holi, which is baked and stuffed with coconut and gulkand. You will love these!
Dough
1 cup All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
2 tbsp ghee
4 tbsp Water
Sugar Syrup
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Water
1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
2 tsp Lemon Juice
Gujiya Filling
3 tbsp gulkand
1/3 cup grated mawa
1 tbsp Almonds, chopped
1 tbsp Cashew, chopped
1 tbsp Pistachios, chopped
1 tbsp Raisins, chopped
1 tbsp Poppy Seeds (Khuskhus)
1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
2 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
1 tbsp Ghee
2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
other ingredients-
Milk to brush
Bake at 200 C for 20 minutes or until they are slightly brown.
