- YES Guys! Welcome back...
We finally have the S3 lowered by 20mm and boy does it look much better! In this video we go over the effects of it being lowered and put it to the test.
Lots more coming in the next few weeks with the car off for stage 2 work on Monday - Once it is back we have a rolling road day with 20 cars fighting for the power they exoect! stay tuned and subscribe - laters! :)

The car looks awesome with new ride height 👍 Is the suspension standard or magnetic. I have an S3 same age as yours with magnetic adjustable damper settings. I’m wondering if I could fit lowering springs or would it cause problems with the mag ride.
Thank Eddie! This was without Magride - you can however fit lowering springs with magride too, there are people who speculate the magride should be re-calibrated after fitting, however there are lots out there who never have and report no problems 😎👍🏻

ST suspension these buddy - 25mm
I ment instead of lowering , lowering gives a better stance but like most lowered cars the arches look wrong , no gap at the top and massive gaps at the sides!
I get you - I wanted the car firmer too which is why I went with the ST springs

Hi mate do you think you need a PPF filter to be removed?
Hi Matey! My car is pre PPF - so there’s not one on there, if you have a car with a PPF then you only need to look at this being removed when you move to stage 2

I will eventually be changing for lightweight alloys (I’m yet to decide on which) I’ve just dropped the car off today to have stage 2 work completed which should get me 420bhp - I’m already eyeing up a technics V5 turbo to get the car to stage 3 hopefully in a couple of months, then I’ll be looking at 6 pot brakes and coil overs, I’ve never been a fan of the alloys it came with and Id love to get some lightweight ones that are really going to set the car off! Thanks for your interest though, really appreciate it!

Did lowering the car affect your insurance premium at all?
Only slightly.. was an extra £30 per year

Nope - went for 18’s, wanted shocks and springs over magride (had an S6 that had the magride fail.. very expensive)
These cars run better on 18’s, a lot less bumpier, less road noise, cheaper tyres and slightly better acceleration low down

I wouldn’t bother with bigger wheels, it looks spot on as it is. Remember, 19’s are for show, 18’s are for go 😁👍
