By that logic, I can justify dowary by saying *y should a women be allowed to bring nothing to the house she is marrying to and just be allowed to leach off her husband when she wasn't their to support him in his struggling phase?* Also, y should it should be considered "ok" for the husband to be the "legal slave" of her after marriage ended? So, just because she doesn't earns means she should be allowed to *leach off her from husband her husband for life time?* Not to forget even if kids aren't in the picture, husband can be still ordered by the court to pay her 1/3rd of his annual earnings.
@@ashanasinha Normally 25% is the maintenance amount. Yes, wife don't have direct right to husband property, but he have to sell his property inorder to pay alimony to her. Also, are u just gonna act "naive" how residents order under the domentic violence act work?(Or maybe u don't know about it). Nothing need to be proven in order to get the husband out of his property under Section 19 of the Domestic Violence Act. Also, *where it is mention wife can't claim maintenance if she inciate divorce?*
