- "Danza con me" is a TV programme created by La Scala principal Roberto Bolle for the Italian TV channel RAI1. It is broadcast prime time on New Year's Day since 2018.
Here Bolle dances with the Royal Ballet's first soloist Melissa Hamilton, to "Borderlands" a piece by Wayne McGregor, first commissioned by San Francisco Ballet for the opening gala of their 2013 season.

Sentono assieme, vivendo e rinascendo. WOW che coreografia!!! Braverrimi Melissa Hamilton e Roberto Bolle. Grande scena il contemporaneo, sempre molto affine alle tematiche corpo/mente/spirito. Essere in allineamento è ascoltare il cuore, e saper comunicare con esso. Che sia più corporeo, con atti generosi, o più mentale. L' importante è che sia accogliente come quello di quando eravamo piccoli.

Oui, bravo. Des tractions et des portés qui sont techniquement très poussés. Des ouvertures pour la danseuse qui sont nombreuses et dans des plans aussi variés que périlleux. Une attention qui doit donc être constante, ici, la gestion de la respiration est capitale compte tenu de l’ effort à fournir. Un esprit qui doit rester alerte. Une bonne entente avec le danseur plus que nécessaire pour soulager la danseuse, voilà ce qui est requis et je ne parle pas du reste, cependant, je mesure l’ énorme travail en amont . Ici, un résultat plus que satisfaisant. Je reste admirative. 🌹😘👋🏻
I don't know enough about dance to judge them, but I do know that chills ran through my body as I watched. The music was stupendous.

Ugh! I didn't like this at all. She's doing better. Being more expressive. But he looks like he's just going through Monday at work. Too mechanical, he's just following the script. I wonder if the problem is lack of rehearsals. They are both principals, after all. And at prestigious companies. You'd expect more from them. And Robert is much better than this (go see him dance with Nunez on this same channel). The dance is also not very appealing, nor inventive. I never saw Borderlands. But I don't see much of Wayne McGregor in this cold mechanic duet.
