4:10 There was a time when I was eating raisin bran and saw a oddly symmetrical raisin on my spoon, I tried shaking some of the milk out to look at it better and the raisin crawled out of the spoon and into my milk. Spiders do look like raisins. I did not eat the raisin bran. I am now afraid of raisin bran.
I like to think that the questionable statistics of eating spiders is entirely because of mistaking them for raisins.

I live in Brazil and we have rally big tarantulas here (bigger than a dish plate sometimes). The big ones looks like black crabs when you think about it... Just remove the fangs and venom sacks... The fangs are a little dangerous to eat.
BTW I never est one. Just know how to because I have family in the Amazonian Rainforest and if I ever get lost in the Green Hell, I want to survive.

I believe that you're supposed to cook it. People were talking about the urticating hairs hurting her, but those were probably already removed, and it was just the regular body hairs.
Most people burn the hairs off with like a creme brulee torch or something similar, but Pippa just went for it which I respect.
