- In today's video we head over to Universal Orlando Resort to get a full walking tour of City Walk. City Walk is the entertainment, food, and shopping area located between the parking garages and the entrances to the theme parks. City Walk is full of all sorts of different shops where you can purchase just about anything from Universal Orlando souvenirs to a whole new wardrobe with the latests fashions. City Walk also has plenty of options for food ranging from fast food to full on sit down meals and has food choices from Italian all the way to traditional Mexican food and everything in between. There is a live music venue called Hard Rock Live where big name music acts play on a regular basis, and a whole area devoted to night life. City Walk stays open every night until 2 am for guests to enjoy dancing, eating, and drinks from various different locations. Hopefully this video helped you understand City Walk a little better and gave you an idea of how to get around City Walk. Join us tomorrow for another new video!

Hello, I am TheTimTracker. Welcome to our fun and exciting Theme Park driven life! Make sure you say hello and hit the subscribe button, because we are always doing something new. Whether it's home science experiments for kids, roller coaster POV ride alongs or Theme Park Events; you will be sure to have a blast hanging out with us! We always have fun filming new things for you guys and showing you things to do in Orlando, Florida!
OK, let me start by saying my husband and I have been coming to City Walk for quite a bit now. We are oh no! "Seniors" Love coming here when we are in FL. Thank you Tim for touring through it. We pop in once a year when we're not necessarily on vacation, but visiting family on our way back home to the airport. Just have to come to see our favorite pitstop..... Unniversal! Just feeds the soul........This was awesome, thank you.
Wow! Talk about a comprehensive tour! I really like how you constantly orient the viewer to where you were previously (if that makes any sense). I get turned around really easily but visual cues clear that up a lot! Thank you for posting!
Amy Brockway-Jackl I completely agree! Tim is a great tour guide!!
I’m kinda liking the way that everything is within walking distance of everything. As much as I love Disney World, having to do all of that traveling between parks and hotels and restaurants, etc is so time consuming. I feel like this helps to maximize your time and enjoyment.
I literally have no plans of visiting Florida in the foreseeable future but I’ll still watch you give a tour of anything 😂
I love when Tim got momentarily distracted by the pizza pretzel, lol! 😂😊
Thanks for making our visits more about the experience and not about trying to figure out stuff as we go along ... you and Jenn prepare us so well!! Appreciate all you do!!
WOW!!!! So much stuff to do and eat before or after going to the parks. The last time I was at Universal, they were building Islands and City Walk. May, how things have changed. Thanks Mr. Tim Tracker for showing us all Universal has to offer. I’m excited to visit. Thanks again and we’ll see ya tomorrow.
Wow you’re so knowledgeable. That portion of the Berlin Wall is a gem and unfortunately hidden/easy to miss. Thanks for highlighting so much great stuff!
you guys are the only channel i can successfully sit through walkthrough videos without getting annoyed or bored 😭
I can't tell you how much you and your wife have really helped us plan our upcoming trip. Thanks!
The "cat vomiting a rainbow" comment made me snort laugh. The way Tim said that was SO funny and unexpected! :)
It needs to be my text notification ringtone.
This is exactly the video we needed, you can find this info, with this level of detail and quality, anywhere on youtube! Fantastic stuff as always Tim and Jenn!
That was amazing. Thank you! We’ve done Disney a bunch, but never Universal - I was a bit confused and intimidated about City Walk and entrances from hotels. This is so incredibly helpful. My trip is me vs 3 kids - I’m good now. Thanks again!
12:42 Fun fact about that grey-blue building, that actually used to be the Nickelodeon Studios building and they would tape a lot of their old sitcoms and game shows there
One thing I really appreciate about universal is that they have several places that promote independent artists. Piq and another small store in the lost continent area sell original prints and more artsy stuff. I liked that, and I’d love to see even more of it.
The Sushi and Sake place is amazing! Usually no wait and they are very fast! The Volcano Roll is awesome! Aloha
All the times I’ve been to city walk and I’ve never gone to the second level 😱, I had no clue so much was up there!
The moving walkway exit is approaching, please watch you're step
(lol I hope you guys understand that)
Tunbun tunbun never gets old
Tunbun tunbun lmao. Yep! I’m a local 😂
Good memories from Universal, such a classic
Memorized it since I was 12, haha.
After hearing it nonstop for a week straight it's actually one of the few things I dread about coming back
We’re just back from our *AMAZING* 3-Week holiday at Disney & Universal,we’d half-hoped to ‘bump into’ you guys while we were there but as we didn’t, I’d like to say ‘thank you’ for all your videos which really heped us over the last 2 years while we planned our trip..you really allowed us to work out what to do...and what not to do on our trip(!)
THANK YOU.
Thank you for this video! I surprised our family 2 weeks ago on our first trip to City Walk by being able to navigate us to the bus area when the rain caused the resort boats to shut down. My family was tired and getting grumpy and complained they had no idea where to go to get the bus, but because I saw your video I was able to lead us in the right direction!
You guys are so good and so crazy helpful with this information. This is why everyone in Orlando needs to work with you guys.
I can't believe I never realized there was a second floor to city walk until now wow. Thanks Tim, you're the best tour guide!
Hello, Tim. I have watched many of your videos, but this one has convinced me that you are exceptional at your craft. The pacing is always so good. The attention to detail is awesome. I am so glad that I found you on CZcams. You make me feel like I am actually there with you. That takes talent on your part. Keep it going, my friend.
I love, love, love City Walk!!!! We did a tour of the Lennon room when we were there and the piano is not John Lennon’s but the keys have been signed by various artists. There is a little couch in the Lennon room that was actually owned by John Lennon and was in his house that he shared with Cynthia in Weybridge, Surry England. Also in the Lennon room is the white suit that Lennon wore when he and the other Beatles walked across Abbey Road in London. We also got to walk out on the balcony that Tim pointed out that overlooks City Walk accessed from the Lennon Room.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your in depth walk threws. I have been to universal a few times and i did not every realize there was a second level. I thought it was just the second floor for the restaurants. Please keep doing in depth locations. They are amazing!
Had Grad Nights in '03 and '04. The Groove is the only thing still around from those days.
Antojitos is my absolute favorite restaurant in City Walk. That tableside guacamole is the best I've ever eaten!
I live like 45 minutes away. I haven't been there in like 5 years but its an interesting place. Its the low season now so it is the perfect time to go.
This is exactly what I want to watch when I get out of school
Raven Ashmore you had school? Aren’t you on Labor Day holiday?
Super Freya GAILIN Productions Labor Day is Monday. Schools get Monday off though
Super Freya GAILIN Productions Labor Day is Monday. Today is Friday.
Super Freya GAILIN Productions Labor Day is on Monday
Sorry everyone got upset, my school is off Friday through Monday because of Labor Day.
I'm loving these tours of various locations. Keep it up Tim and thank you!!
Same!! I don't know what it is about these intensely detailed location tours that just have me totally captivated. And I am a local! 🤣🙈 I have been to all these places so I don't need a tour, but I am just entranced lol!!!
A Banks I don't blame you. Orlando is a great place, I would be entranced as well!
I deadass was looking up tours or city walk bc im going next month and i see "TIm Tracker uploaded 11 min ago" im like NOOO WAY!
Me too! Going in 2 weeks this couldnt be more perfect. Thank you Tim!
me too!
Thanks for posting this video you guys. This is one of the most informative videos on City Walk that've ever been posted on CZcams. Fantastic job! Thanks.
Had no idea about the piece of the Berlin Wall or the Vibe tour!! Thank you Tim and Jen!!
I really like the recommendation for the photo op spot! Lots of great info.
This video is so perfect! I can’t even explain how great this was to help with my first trip ever to Orlando.. you guys give the greatest walkthroughs! Thank you so much!
I've eaten at the sushi place upstairs before! Their sushi was amazing, and the miso soup there was fantastic
I literally scoured the comments for a reply about the sushi place lol I've always wanted to try it but it being so dead has turned me away a few times.
That's so great to know. Sometimes all I want is some great fresh sushi!!
I'm always down for some Miso soup, good to know.
I ate there twice in a 5 day trip some years ago. Ordered and took it back to my hotel room. It was delicious and a great wind-down after a hectic day at the parks.
Sadly instead of that place on our Orlando trip we went to Cowfish and were disappointed, the sushi and nagiri was poorly made.
All I can say is THANK YOU for this particular video and all your other vids. We live in Ga and are going there for a week in Feb. Already booked our hotel, Wanting to know as much as possible prior to our arrival and your videos are a tremendous help!! Thank you so much.
So glad I subscribed to this channel. We have been to Universal numerous times and never knew there were so many restaurants at City Walk. Can't wait to go back. BTW, Vivos Italian Kitchen was excellent. Sorry to see both of Emerils restaurants close.
i have never heard anyone explain something as good as you always do. i lovelovelove yalls videos. finally comin down to florida in a few days ((:
I'm a server at Antojitos. Glad you included it.
I NEVER KNEW there was two levels at City Walk! Thank you for all the Clues
WOW! I'm exhausted we did a lot of walking-:) That was an amazing tour! Thank you!
Dean Colby. 😂😂👏
Oooo thank you for info to take a pic of the globe and arch as our pics have a tone of other people in it thumbs up Tim x
Haven't been to Universal in 10 years but it is totally different!! Maybe soon! I would love to do HHN, looks so fun. Love these tours, very helpful! So many good looking restaurants.
A nighttime tour would be good, as it can look completely different 👍🏻
Thank you for this tour! I have never took the time to look around City Walk so thank you for walking all around! I never knew about the Berlin Wall piece or the Jimmy Buffett plane, how cool!! I will be sure to check out all the sites when I go in October! ❤️👍🏻
This video is Freaking Awesome! Headed to Orlando in Aug, my wife and I are going on a 3 day cruise, and we will be spending 3 days in Orlando, haven't picked a resort yet but I have my eyes set on Swan and Dolphins over at Disney. Now i'm checking to see what Universal have to offer. I saw your videos on Swan and Dolphins, thanks for these videos. You helping me alot.
i feel like tim played guitar because of how well he described the guitar
This video was so informative I subscribed before the video was even finished. Thank you!!!
Thanks for this. Been through city walk so many time but have never been up stairs. So much more up there than I thought!
I love Orlando, especially the Universal Parks and the City Walks. I can’t wait to cone back in three weeks.
Who dislikes these videos? Tim is so pure.
Pat O'Brien's has a great outdoor seating area by the way. It's boxed in and really well-themed with great atmospheric lighting, so it honestly doesn't feel like you're still in Citywalk anymore. Plus, you can listen to the dueling pianos from there without having to sit in the crowded darkness inside.
The universal vlogs are quickly becoming my favourite!
I’m going this year mid-December and it’s been about seven-ish years since I’ve been last. I paid almost no attention to City Walk because I was there for the parks and felt I missed so much. This video is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much. I’ll definitely make sure I don’t miss City Walk this time!
This video has been so helpful to us. We are mainly Disney visitors and have never realised how much there is at City Walk. We usually plough right through to get to the park gates. Now we have a list of eateries we want to try and also learned so much more. We are planning to buy an annual pass this year (as we will be visiting again next year) and now know we can go to City Walk one evening, get something great to eat and pick up passes without having to go to the front gates. Great content, as always. Thank you!
Yay a video about city walk!
Thanks for another great video! Always learning something new!
Amazing video! I can watch your channel everyday! I've been to Universal for vacation and the Citywalk was one of my favorite places! I love it light up at night! Voodoo Donuts wasn't there when I went so I'll have to go back see what's new!
Universal is so cool...love it..even more than Disney's. Universal for me is THE PARK. Thanks for the update of City Walk Tim.
I agree I love Universal
I also agree!!!
I feel that way, too, even though I like Disney a lot
I really loved City Walk on our trip last week to Universal. It has so much. It's a lot like Disneyland Downtown Disney. Close to the parks, which makes it a cool hangout post-parks.
Great video it's super helpful to show people all about citywalk . I always point people in your direction if they are researching a trip x Keep up the fantastic work you both are awesome
Great vlog, just given us an idea for something else to do on one of free days !! Thanks Tim.
Tim vivo is a great place to eat I was there two years ago on my 50th birthday with my family they really looked after us and the food was amazing. I will be in orlando in 8 days just hubby and I can t wait xxx
Thanks for the tour around City walk Tim! Me and my friend will be visiting for the first time next year. I'm really excited!
Universal seems so different than any other theme park so these videos are super helpful!
Amanda Raider Universal is legit!
And the staff are amazing.
@@gissneric well as someone who goes to disney often maybe I am not as sensitive to their rules since it's all I've ever known but I feel like Tim always has to explain how universal works and what certain things are. Like I dont remember ever seeing a "explaining disney springs" video
Wow great video, I have only ever rushed through City Walk so had no idea all that cool stuff was there! Thank you so much for taking the time to show it to us all. K x
WOW. We missed a lot of City Walk when we went there back in June. Wish I saw this video beforehand. At least we ate at Emeril's before it closed. Good food.
The mini golf is amazing!!! We loved playing the Halloween mini golf. We love Cold Stone!! Thank you for the tour. We have seen a lot of it; but, not all as we are usually wiped out from the parks. lol
This is very useful. Thank you show much for showing us around!
Nice one tim, I’m in the aventura Next year Thanks for the tour
Thanks for showing this. I was there this summer for first time and did not see half of the City walk. Next time I will spend time at the walk not at the parks.
My family loves you guys! Can’t wait for more videos
Its like you guys knew I was going to Citi-Walk tomorrow and needed ideas!
Just ran into you at Volcano Bay yesterday and were getting ready to do City Walk got a lot of info thanks!
So glad ya'll did this video. I'll be coming in December and I don't want to be lost as a goose.
GREATTTT VIDEO IDEA! I wish I had this video two years ago! So many people are going to appreciate this including myself :) I love long tracker videos.
Great tip for the globe and arches pic, THANK YOU!!! I love that kind of info for vacation planning!
THANKS for a great informative video! I am planning my vacation there in September and your videos have been very helpful.
If you're doing the citywalk try out the Bubba Gump restaurant. Great staff and food.
My hubby and I got married in the John Lennon white room it was amazing
We once decided to walk from Cabana Bay to CityWalk. It is a long walk but nice scenery to look at. Also, we did not know they did a bag check even to walk around CityWalk and my husband had a pocketknife in his pocket. They confiscated it and we weren't allowed to get it back when we left. It was too far a walk to just run it back to the room. Lesson learned!
Awesome!! Hard Rock Cafe!:) 👍 thanks for sharing
I went to that Bubba Gump place and it was one of the best food experiences of my life. I was on holiday from Ireland and my whole family were there. One of the staff gave us a trivia quiz on the film Forrest Gump and the shrimp mascot came in for pictures. The food was great too.
I went there in 2015 and can vouch for the Gumbo. Got a couple of those jam jar glasses as well, they're cool
This video was very helpful! I had no idea what was on the second level of City Walk
City Walk At Universal Orlando Resort is a great place to enjoy with family and friends! We go there a couple times a year and even made videos for our channel to share with our friends from PA! Thank you for your video!
Yep thank you!
Thanks for this video, I’ll be there in 10 days! City Walk has changed a lot since the last time I was there!
Yayy, my fave vids of yours are the universal resort tours. As universal resort is my favourite of the parks in Orlando. I’m from the UK. 💛x
Good one Tim !!! Now I understand what city walk is and how to get around when we visit in November. Cheers Tim!!!
SUSHI! My wife and I ate there and we loved it! Instead of waiting 45+ min for a table elsewhere we ate there no line or wait and it has delicious food! Also the Apple Sake was so refreshing, we got 3 of them lol Our most fond memory of City Walk! Definitely recommend it!
What a fun Day! thank you for the Tour!!
the number 1 thing I miss from city walk is cowfish, my absolute favorite
I have never seen a city walk tour and we have not explored it before so thank you for doing this.
Thank you so much for making this video!
This is a great tour video man, unlike so many where they just walk around and edit it with annoying music but no explanation whatsoever as to what there actually is to see and do and eat. Great work! Can you do one from Disney Springs? We are going to Orlando in a couple of months and this was so helpful...
That was awesome!!! Tim lots of info 👍 tour thanks ❤ ❤
Great vlog Tim, never realised there was so much there . The amount of times we have walked through it without looking properly.
Thx for sharing this vid it really helped me find my way in city walk when we went!!!!
We visited margharitaville a week or so ago and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, hilarious balloon making guys on stilts entertaining guests and the food was delicious too. Buttermilk chicken and burgers were so good
The tour in the Hard Rock Cafe is amazing! We drove from Tampa to Orlando just to go to HRC for my 18th, and the server told us about it, so we did it after eating. We got to see so many awesome things, and even touch some things. I got to get a picture sitting on the couch/bench thing that Paul McCartney had cut a hole in the back of so he could have room to play his guitar while laying down upon it! 😱
