Tragedy Strikes When Teen Loses Life Over Weekend

Tragedy struck over the weekend when a sixteen-year-old, Kevinus Leonce of Bois Patat, lost his life as a result of drowning at Vigie beach. Reports suggest that Leonce was retrieving a ball when he encountered difficulty in the water. Despite the best efforts of others on the beach to resuscitate him, Leonce was pronounced dead on the scene.

We need to teach people to swim and we need to put lifeguards on the beaches as well. That's a form of employment too. So tired of seeing people drowning when simple supervision would have helped.
