I like this much better than a class A RV. It seems more like a home. This, I can visualize being a full time living space, park it, set it up and go wherever in your truck, very convenient. Love it !
I own this model. I’m a traveler nature photographer. And I bought it specifically for the kitchen & desk. I didn’t want to upgrade to a 41ft and convert a sofa into a desk. I don’t watch tv, or desire to entertain others. When I watch a tv show I use my iPad. This is simply (not) ‘your floor plan.’
The Solitude is certainly one of the best full time living, full profile fifth wheels out there! The new 345GK is an awesome revamp to the 344GK. The new campside windows are incredible.
Beautiful 5th wheel. Only thing I would change is looking out the window at the desk looking out and seeing the ladder, I would have moved it over behind the pantry.
I have some constructive criticism for Grand Design. I realize there's limited space to do it but I wish this RV had a coat closet or nook to hang jackets. For full timing its a pretty important feature for me.
Wish GD would improve the storage space in the bathroom and bedroom. You make it look like lots when it’s empty. However when your full timing it’s not much storage at all. Gotta get creative GD
Man, if we could have a small bunk slide out perpendicular, this would be our DREAM!! It’s gorgeous! Layout is exceptional. Haven’t seen another like it.

Grand Design revamped the 377MBS with some solid upgrades including the decor changes you saw here. Th 378MBS will give you that bunk option and still provide a gorgeous rear living to entertain. i love this rv setup. i just feel awkward driving a truck for a 5th wheel. i like driving an SUV or mini van. im thinking maybe a truck mini van towable car?
This is a model we're seriously considering and I have a question about this newly changed layout. When the right recliner is fully extended is there enough room between it and loveseat to easily walk through into the bathroom/bedroom areas? It's hard to tell without actually being in the coach and testing out.

The 310GK and 345GK have a front closet and W/D location we love, but basement is a bit smaller than we want. Like many people say the perfect RV is like a unicorn - they don't exist. So the Gross Vehicle weight is 16,780 lbs but the 2 axels are only rated at 14,000 lbs? Just the dry weight of the camper only leaves you with 680 lbs until you exceed the axel rating. What a joke

Is the 345GK basement storage larger than the 310GK? Also, we wanted to see into the basement from the camp side.

You have a choice between the two when you go to order one. I also believe in the Solitude it's the same size regardless of which you choose.
