MY REVIEW:
I really enjoyed using this product. It paired perfectly with the Camille Rose Naturals Curl Love Moisture Milk and both products left my hair SUPER defined and most importantly EXTREMELY moisturized. My twists were so JUICY!! But that twist out was fire!! My hair stayed moisturized and defined for over a week! I plan to do a comparison video with the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel and the Camille Rose Almond Jai Butter in the future to see if there is a difference but either way I love both! I definitely recommend this product.

I combined Mielle Pomegranate leave-in with Camille Rose Almond Jai butter and my hair was amazing; moisture locked twists and great twist out. I preferred the Mielle leave in over Cam Rose Curl love bcse it had more slip and it emulsifies magically in water. But I thought the Mielle twisting butter was too icky and gave me knots so Cam Rose wins that battle.

The aloe whipped butter gel gives my hair more definition than the almond jai. I've used both for a wash n go under the curlmaker and it comes out 🔥 everytime.
That makes perfect sense! The last twist out I did with almond Jai I paired it with a little bit of the curl maker and it was bomb! And yes the wash and go is popping! I haven't used the butter gel for a wash and go yet but y'all are making me want to try it hahaha

Also have you compared this with the Almond Jai. In my mind the Almond Jai is more moisturizing but it's been a while since I've used it so I don't remember

Your hair is beautiful. I use all Camille Rose products with the exception of the Lavender Collection I didn't care for some of those products in that collection. I actually love the Almond Jai Twisting Butter. At first compared to the Aloe Butter Gel; the Almond Jai Twisting Butter made my hair very soft with a medium hold, which I paired it the style gel Curl Maker, my curls were beautiful and defined with no flaking. I also love the Aloe Butter Gel, which I noticed that when I first used the product I didn't get the definition like I wanted nor long wear, but that was due to not enough product applied to hair. I decided to give it a try again adding more of the product and my hair was beautiful, moisturized and great definition. I actually love both products. Currently, I am using the Coconut Hydration products and all those products in that collection are amazing and hydrating as well with excellent definition. All stylers are paired with their styling gel Curl Maker simply for the extra hold and definition on my 4A Type hair. I recommend both the Almond Jai Twisting Butter and Aloe Butter Gel both products are excellent for twist outs and wash-n-go's.

@@CurlsofaCPA I will say for me my favorite was the deep conditioner. The shampoo and leave in was ok, but the gel was way to thick for me. I think this product line is for more corse hair textures. The top of my hair I believe is 3C and back is 4A I have a mixture. I may have just applied too much product. Please do a review of Lavender Collection I would love to see and hear what you think about the collection.

This product and the milk is definitely on my wish list. I have been eyeing them for so long! I have the Curl Maker and Fresh Curls that I got as a gift. Ok Sable, I really like how your hair looks here. I want that look. I went from years of locs to a very short fade. I couldn't get to my barber because of the pandemic so now I'm gonna try a new natural. My hair is not as long as yours but I still want my twist out to look that good. Gonna try it!
Such a transition! You can still get a nice twist out on your shirt hair. If it’s super short then I suggest trying finger coils but if it’s long enough to twist you should be good. Let me know how you feel after you try it!! You got this!!
And of COURSE you followed this up with the Camille Rose comparison video to end all comparison videos! 🤣😍 I went to my local CVS to pick up more aloe whipped butter gel but wound up settling for the Almond Jai and will experiment. I haven't had a styler empty in a long, long while - nothing compares to the aloe butter gel, both for application experience, which as you pointed out is so important, and actual results! Let's see how Almond Jai performs! And you are really convincing me to try the moisture milk, though I'm currently in a one and done phase thanks to the aloe butter gel.

I know I’m late but Camille Rose is the GOAT for me! I also get a week in my twist or braid out with the aloe butter and almond jai. Question.. how do you preserve it at night? I usually put 4 chunky twists or braids every night so that it won’t shrink up.
I put my bonnet on and then a scarf. It’s like a pineapple but without any hair ties

I love your hair. I think it's day 4. How do you get your hair so defined on the ends? Mine is always frizzy at the ends
Thank you!!!! So I make sure I smooth my ends with my fingers or a brush and then twirl them. When I twirl them I make sure there is product on them so it will coil nicely. I'm not sure if you noticed this but in the video you'll see me drag some of the excess product down to my ends.,..I use that product or add some more product to get them nice and smooth

My hair couldn’t do this product for some reason... it immediately flaked in my hair as a one and done and I knew when it dried it would be snowing. first time this happened but the other products of hers have been fine and ive used a lot of hers.

I love this product. It really defines my curls. But, it doesn't keep my hair moisturized. Maybe it's my technique? I'm newly natural (only 1 month...been relaxed for 18yrs) and struggle with moisture retention. Once my hair dry from water, it's back to dry. I tried a new method today (with this product 🙂). Crossing my finger.
P.s I tried the jai butter. In my opinion it worked better, but I cant use it because it contain coconut oil which im allergic too.

Most definitely! I know people with all types of textures that love Camille Rose. It's more about the technique. What are some of the challenges you are having when it comes to moisture? It is keeping your hair moisturized or getting it to actually be moisturized?

@@CurlsofaCPA I shampoo and conditioner, then I add hair grease and massage and let air dry, and once my hair has dried it’s rough, and tight. I even light blowed dried my hair after shampooing and added shea moisture leave in conditioner and that didn’t help either.
@@pugglie22 ok that makes sense. Do you have any leave in conditioners? You need someone on your hair before you add the grease. The grease kinda seals in the moisture but if you have nothing on your hair your hair is just going to feel dry once the water evaporates. Also how often do you feel condition? And when you deep condition what how do you do it?

I have the Camille Rose products that you used....it doesn’t do that to my hair lol

It holds the curls well with my twist out but there’s no shine & it’s hard. Maybe I used too much product. I just used the almond jai on my daughter’s hair today & her twist look great but my hair is 4C & hers is 3C...I never have trouble with hers lol

@@CurlsofaCPA typical with anything really. I was using TGIN hair butter/cream & my hair was brittle. CamilleRose works ALOT better. I use the leave in which works well & I do the LOC method than switched to LCO, basically if I twist or braid my hair to dry overnight...my hair becomes hard & oily. Vaseline worked the best for me once, but it’s too greasy

Half of my head is low porosity so yes it does. Since it’s so moisturizing it takes a full day to dry properly (like with most of my twist outs) since I air dry
I think it will work for fine coils but they may be puffy since this is more like a cream but the curl marker gel from this line would be perfect for finger coils

@@denisetheur5641 the rare occasion I've done it nothing happened to me but it's something to be aware of. I think if it happened to you, you would know but @urberhautelaute can speak more to it than me
@@CurlsofaCPA Moknowscurls said it is a breathing ground for bacteria when your hair is wet and you now wrap it up.
By wrapping it up, the environment becomes moist and warm enough for bacteria to culture.
