Quick video of my 2023 X-PRO Templar X 250cc 6-Speed. In this video I will be installing a NIBBI Carburetor 30mm, Max speed is around 71mph on "153lbs body weight". Thank you for watching!
I just purchased a 2023 X-pro Templar X from X-pro directly with free shipping. Amazon was sold out. I have a 2021 Basham Raven has been a great bike, but this Templar looks like a great off-road bike. Also great price under 2200. I have one of these carbs I was going to put it on my Raven. I will have put it on this new X-pro 250. TY Rick R
I just got my Templar X. I'm 6'2" and I had to lower the forks and the rear shock to be able to get up on it. These things are tall! But it was a blast! I gotta pick up a nibbi carb. The factory carb isn't jetted right it's hard to get it to start. Gotta give it a little gas and it'll fire right up.
Just got mine delivered. Fucking love it for off road . She was doing 69 on the freeway this morning . I weigh 240 lbs . Lol suspension is soft as shit but still rides smooth . Watching this to see if I should put the nibbi on it
cool video! i was laughing when you pulled off onto the lake side park lol i do the same shit all the time and get some mean looks from the random karens walking there shnouzers & poodles, im looking forward too a new nibbi for my hawk x 250, i love these china bikes there freaking awesome!
Nice video brother. I have a xpro titan 250 and trailmaster 250. This bike sounds just like those. Very similar. Also odd question. Which camera are you using in your videos? Nice work man
That's awesome man! I've been thinking about getting one of those , I'm currently using a GoPro Hero 11 mini , but in this video I was using the GoPro Hero 3+ , thanks man !
The carburetors has is made any noticeable difference to the performance or sound? I just realized yesterday the rear shock is leaking oil it hasn’t changed the way the bike is riding yet lm just wondering if l should look for a different type or just a replacement?
The stock carburetor was very boggy, it felt like the engine wasn’t getting enough fuel, when I pull the throttle is was very weak and the bike was stalling all the time, the nibbi carb fixed that plus it has ajustable jets, it made it more rich and gave better throttle response and yes it made the bike way louder with more power, yes get a better suspension, the stock suspension is not very good it’s a little bouncy even if you adjust it to the max, that’s why i don’t recommend this bike on the road
@@Faustastico7 wd40 is exactly what I was planning to grab today. Thanks for the reply.! I just finished building it. I didn’t do any mods myself because it’s my first bike. But I have the nibbi 30, battery swap, new chain, and ngk spark plug. Im planning on leaving it stock, driving it to a bike shop and just pay them to do the mods and carb adjustments. But it’s been raining like crazy in Miami. So I’ll keep you posted new week. My b really excited to get this thing running
@@deondre21f that’s awesome , you’re gonna love it , just make sure all the bolts are tight and secured , one time I was riding and one of the handle bar bolts on the bottom came off and I lost control and I almost crashed, but thankfully I was going slow, also be careful with those Chinese tires on the road they get slippery especially when you upgrade the chain and sprockets, have fun and good luck !
@@Faustastico7 I had to run 48 pilot 130 main and needle in the lowest position. The catalytic converter would start to glow after about 10 mins at idle.
The first dmv I went to they denied it because they couldn’t find it on the system , but I went to the main dmv office in my county and they registered it under a different name with the same vin number , but honestly I do not recommend this bike for the road
It's an air cooled 250. Even brand name Japanese 250's are going to be maxed out at 60-70mph depending on the rider. For what this bike is that's plenty fast. These Templars are actually really well made bikes. Just got to accept it for what it is. If you want a faster bike you'll have to spend more dough.
@@smartacus88 Well said. Its a dirt bike, let it play in the dirt. Maybe go across town to find more dirt. or maybe 1-3 exits on the freeway to get to the last bit of dirt. I'm going to gear down mine by reducing the tooth in the front by 1, which should max the top speed down at 55pmh. but, thats fine. that's as fast as it would ever need to go.

The Templar has more horsepower than the titan that’s why I’m going with it instead

What does the Nibbi Carburetor do differently than the stock carburetor, and what are the advantages to the Nibbi Carburetor?
Adjustable jets etc, you need to upgrade the carb.😊
It runs so lean from the factory, and you can’t adjust it. This nibbi opens the bike up and gives it a few more horses!
Hey just got same bike. What did you use to get decal glue off plastics ?
Nice! I used WD40 and 303 aerospace protectant

Do you recommend this bike?
Absolutely, great bike!
Can you big bore kit this bike or is there any other upgrades to make it more of a “dirt bike” than a road bike
Yes they sell kits for it , might do an upgrade soon !
You can't even get this bike now they sold out from most places but they have a lot of five speed Templars
What size jets are you running?
135 and 40, needle at #3

Did you change your sprockets?
Soon
Was it hard to get this bike street legal?

@@Faustastico7I’m buying it mainly for off road use but I have to go on main roads to get there lol, but thank you I appreciate that!
Is this the 6 speed model? What’s top speed?
Yes 6-speed, I weigh around 150lbs I’ve hit 70mph once on the road, but I don’t recommend going that fast with off-road tires
@@Faustastico7 dang was it redlining high at that speed? What’s an adequate cruising speed maybe around 50mph?

Yes , but it depends , different states have different laws , mine is registered in Florida
