The specs on the website say the templar x is slower than the hawk dlx. I just want to know how of its a 6 speed and has a legit 249cc displacement? Whats your tip speed
How is it? I want to order one asap, been looking at them for a few weeks. Top speed so far? And is this the 6-speed version? Im going to put a new carb and new sprockets.
What carb are you going to use? I think I'm going to try a Mikuni since I plan to ride trails more than anything and don't think I need the Nibbi racing carb I've seen recommended.
@@tommfrink I was thinking the Nibbi. I’m riding street more than off-road. Will also look into street tires as well. But now honestly might get a z400.
There was a deal on the Nibbi PE30 for $63 and though it was difficult to install I was able to use the existing air box. The bike immediately sprang to life and starts without a choke. Instantly more powerful and sounds awesome.
So i bought the templar x 250. I bitched about receiving 28mm when receipt said 30mm. They then sent me a 30mm youall factory style carb(adjustable). And much better top end than stock and nibbi 28mm. Florida at 130 main 142 pilot. 39t sproket i cruise at 60mph top out around 75 80.. ill answer anything, videos comi g soon
