This channel is by far the best off-road/overland content out there. The videos are much less about "let's drive over stuff with our tricked out rigs" and more about the journey, friends, challenge, nature, and of course the sick drone shots! Amazing stuff!

The under-the-glacier shots were other-worldly. This makes me want to cash out everything and come to BC, but then so do all of your BC videos.
Being under it was surreal, all while thinking, I wonder if Kate will sell my jeep for what I"ve told her i have into it if i die under here!! lol

Such a terrific video. To me, the two items that make Shawn's channel head and shoulders above others in this genre are: 1) the storytelling, and 2) cinematography.
The stories capture the viewer and bring the viewer into the journey.
The cinematography is hands-down, the best I've seen on CZcams. The editing, framing of views, integration of drone, vehicle, and hand-held videos, the music, and narrative are all top-shelf.
The videos inspire me to do more . . . until my girlfriend says: you have a full-time job, "Hell no, I'm not going on that shelf road with you," (it wasn't even a "real" shelf road), your rig isn't set-up like that, and finally - "Honey, you don't have a drone, and if you did, you couldn't fly it and drive without going off the road."
But a boy can dream, right? 🙂
Great video! I live in Alaska and the whole reason why I built my truck up the way it is and so I could do the Knik Glacier run every year and explore these awesome trails go places where no one else goes the trails you have there are amazing.
That time lapse at 6:26 is incredible. A+

I do not understand how you are able to multitask like you do. You operate your jeep on a 4x4 trail, communicate frequently with a group of other people, take b-roll shots, POV shots, timelapse, and still find time to even finish the trail. That's not even taking into account prep time and post production work. Your hard work is paying off. And your drone skills are top notch.

One of the overlooked things with your videos is the amount of time you and your friends spend just getting to and from the starting points of your expeditions. 9 hours driving one way on the road to start a knarly adventure is no joke.

I just found your videos earlier this night, and I thank you for the incredible cinematography you put into these journeys. I was beginning to think that my own ventures on random roads through BC would be the only thing that could bring me genuine awe and excitement, but every one of your videos has brought that same sparkling amazement through seeing the views and the trails! It's incredible beyond words seeing all these places that I could only dream of accessing, but it really inspires me to go out where I can and put a lot of effort into capturing and sharing the amazing gems of this province few people see with my humble phone and cheap drone, and share those sights with my family and friends. Your channel is amazing! Beautiful photography…I’ve been kind of down on overlanding, it seemed all about who has the most macho , most expensive rigs. You show the other side of it.. the gift of such incredible places! I remember backloading in the early fifties with my parents in the early 1950’s .. in a 1949 Chevy coupe… did over 2000 miles of California high country fire roads and desert country that year. You’ve brought back some great memories! Thank you for changing my viewpoint! 😊
