weather sealing would be the last box to check for the X-S10 to make it probably the only camera you'll ever buy and need.
i hope that comes in the xs20
There is something about fuji cameras that is so hypnotic, it is like a gorgeous beautiful woman, like a sparking gem, and the line of lenses like liquid gold. I owned many other brands but nothing compares to fuji.
XS10 is probably the best bang for your buck right now!

Your videos have great, informational content and are stylized beautifully. The audio though.... Everytine there is music only I have to turn it down a bit and turn it back up. ESPECIALLY in the first cut after the intro. I don't know whether that's intentional or not but IMHO your vids would be next-tier if the audio was leveled with your voice. That way, I could very easily just make a pkaylist of your videos, sit back, and enjoy. Just my unsolicited two cents.

Hey Man, great review. So funny as always. I think I'll buy it anyway to replace my backup X-T2. I didn't jump into the X-T4 because I don't do video, my main camera is the X-T3. I'm not shoot burst, but I'd like the IBIS for travel orbjust short handheld clips. Now I'm using the X100V.

Great review bro, the size to grip ratio of the camera is unbeatable. I use the camera out of necessity because of the fully articulating screen and ibis, I prefer the design and looks of the xe4 more though, it makes me want to shoot.
XE4 looks like a fun camera. But im over testing out the same camera in different bodies. It's going to be the same review đ

Great vid per usual đ . Iâve been rockin my XS10 for over a year now. I love it. Many different environments and weather, different styles, etc. It hasnât let me down for work or hobby. I love the size and the grip and all the features and customization of the buttons/dials. I havenât had any bug issues. Sorry to hear you have. I did have some buffer issues, but from my understanding and from what Iâve read, If you change the âclarityâ up or down in your settings like for a certain recipe, it will buffer slower. I had set mine back to zero and no more issues on that. Also, I think high speed SD cards do help in that aspect too. Keep up the great work. And donât switch over to those other guys lol
is clarity an issue? I shoot with Burst so clarity is back at "0" so it wont do any processing at all. Clarity only works if you shoot in single shot if im not mistaken.

Hi, I want to ask: on my X S-10, the rear scroll wheel is very tight (sometimes stops dead) and the "Rec" button makes a clicking sound. Is this normal for Fuji? Because before that I was using Canon and did not know such problems...
Nah itâs not like that on mine.
Very fine work. What kind of lenses do you use for both landscape and portrait?
For 90 % of my portrait work itâs the 35/33mm f1.4. The rest is a toss up between various lenses 56,90,23 And when I was shooting landscapes I would shoot with the 16-55 & 50-140mn f2.8

Does boost help you with the buffer?The XT-4 can convert it's raw files into tiff. Not sure what size they wind up being, or if I'm mistaken and it turns jpegs into tiffs. So, does this body do either? Then again, 26 megs will make a nice sized jpeg...but still, we're not talking a 20x24 print at 300 d.p.i. Should we be talking about micro contrast and tonal range when discussing 26 megs? I grew up loooking at Ansel Adams giant prints in galleries. The range of tone in his work, (the old rule of always having a pure black and pure white somewhere in your print was the thing then. (kicking pictorialism out the door)
Boost does that help the buffer, I tried it on and off and it still lags.
@@Iamtongue I've tested my own X-S10, with boost turned on, and with NR turned off, with natural live turned ON too and I haven't noticed any buffer issue.
It slows down after 8 frames, but keeps shooting without a problem in RAW+FINE, M 3:2

With the Fuji Summit around the corner in May do you think itâs worth waiting to see what they come up with if one is on the fence of getting the x-s10 now? Really nice video by the way đ
ya man the XH2 may come out with some insane specs that will blow our mind. So if i were you i'd wait if the rumoured specs are to be true and if you need all those specs...

I am thinking of xs20 but again without weather seal which put me.in delimma. But if xs10 could beat your 2hr snow war.. I am not that extreme shooter. I am confident that I don't have to worry everytime I go outdoor shoot with xs20.
honestly don't even worry about the weather sealing haha... just be smart with your camera and you're gonna be fine.

@@Iamtongue main reason is probably the lenses. I want to be able to have that range, and then I also want to know from you (because I want to be sure if I buy anything) if the xs 10 is a more âpowerfulâ camera(can take more, better sensor etc.)
@@rikusterblanche7396 the x100v has the same sensor as the xs10 same image quality. But you do have the benefit of switching lenses which allows you to be a bit more versatile. The xs10 also has Ibis which I find a lot more useful than without. The x100v is great but itâs very niche and you have really like shooting with only that 23mm focal length.

Can you please make a video and talk about the issue of the new samyang 12mm af f2 lens. Concerning the problem with the ibis when used in combination with the x-s10. Because for some reason, the ibis stops working. Fujifilm and samyang are not doing anything to fix this, but maybe if we get enough people talking about it, they will address the problem. Thank you.
I would if it has affected me. I haven't tested out the samyang so i can't really speak on that.

Many people are experiencing this, and yet I feel itâs to much of a minority issue for Fujifilm or samyang to fix. But if you canât I totally understand. Thanks again.
From what I noticed, this camera is prone to lags and freezes. I do experiment lags and no responding to on/off button, when I am doing more complicated stuff such interval shooting, switching quick between photo/video mode, etc. Even the focus sometimes is locked to either background or whatever camera decided to. Its bloody frustrating and I wonder if the cause is the processor. Also, will xs-20 be free of these lags?

The r10 has decent specs but I donât like canons gatekeeping mentality. They donât allow third party lenses making you need to buy native glass. But their Apsc glass isnât as good as their full frame counterparts. Thatâs my honest opinion.

could be a processor thign. XT3 is flagship camera during its day..
If you think the buffer is bad, you haven't seen a Canon 90D shooting below advertised speeds and filling the crap out the buffer after 8 raw shots and on a fast card, that canon was the reason that made me switch, not to mention a shutter failure on the canon after only 11000ish shots

Great content man, some thing to improve... 1) Ur music are a bit louder vs ur voice... I had my earphone one when the music kick in and its loud.. 2) that clicking transition audio you put everytime the photo changing also a bit loud. Skip it . Anyway thanks. Just my 2 cent opinion

depends what you're doing man I dont know what you're trying to do wiht it. But My friend uses a fujifilm xs10 for video work and it works for him.... My sony a7iv vs fujfiilm xs10 comparision video.. some PPl were saying that the fujifilm xs10 won in autofocusing...

@@wasd3739 if you want a little bit of everything the fujfiilm xs10 is the way to go... I know a few people using fujifilm xs10 for hybrid work... Using it video production and they have zero problems with it. They just work with what they got.

LOL...one suggestion...next time you have a problem retrieving photos, DON'T format the card in a fit of anger/frustration. Take it out and put it aside until you can find out how to retrieve the photos. Put a new card in the camera and use that. đ

@@Iamtongue Hahaha...yeah...it drove me crazy that when the x100v came out you could only use use the digital zoom shooting jpeg but not raw+jpeg AND could use the built-in ND filter for stills but not for video.Then after months they finally did an update which fixed both problems.
On the plus side. x100v is the ONLY camera I will use digital zoom...and they did fix those 2 issues (tho why they released the camera with those flaws is a puzzle).

You need a few of them for a full day of shoot. If you are okay with that then it's a good camera.

This is gonna sound like Fuji blasphemy but Iâm thinking of replacing my X100V with the X-S10. My main body is X-H2S and Iâm thinking of going with S10/27mm combo as I rarely use ND filter, OVF.. the X-H2S has made me LOVE the grip. I had a Z50 and I loved how easy that was to shoot one handed.. the S10 seems like it will be similar. Thank you for this video. Will be tough truly giving up an X100 though.

I sold my a7sIII when they started charging monthly to gyro-stabilize videos (as a batch). I threw up in my mouth đ. Sold it and I'm super happy with my Fuji, and now having some fun with the S5 colors and beautiful video.

5 shots per second with raw + jpeg will eventually get bottlenecked by your sd card. That's around 250mb of data per second. No UHS-1 card has that kind of speed. I asume It has around a gigabyte of buffer.

@@Iamtongue mine is coming today do I didn't test yet. But even with fastest buffer and biggest buffer size, you can't shoot continuously for 250mb per second to a uhs-I sd card. Technically impossible. What about jpeg only?

Hey dude, I don't know why you shoot multiple pictures if you just doing portraits. Like why would you don't you trust your skill level of just taking one photo I don't understand taking burst mode unless you're doing bird photography. Do not understand that whatsoever kind of find out a really curious thing to do.
Iâve explained it throughout multiple videos but.. I like having movement in my shots. So Iâll tell the model to do a sequence of moves.. and shooting burst helps grab the right moment. Even the slightest movement will change how a person looks on camera. So itâs better to cast a wide net so I have options to choose from.

Kind of .. but wouldn't you then have to pump up the ISO to compensate the shutter speed. If someone is moving then you're going to need a shutter speed of around 1000 ?
I get the whole bouncing around kind of look but you're asking a camera that cost less than 1000 bucks to be perfect is probably not ideal

Iâve stated these quirks in the video so people have a sense of what theyâre getting into if they were to purchase this camera. And if itâs bright and sunny outside you can keep your iso low with a shutter speed of 1/1000ss ..

@@Iamtongue nahh... All brands are good out there. Love the form factor of the Fuji. I mostly do fast action photography and the buffer hasn't affected me honestly đ€·đœââïž. And my xs10 has never locked up on me either. But, I do remember in your review of it that you toss it in your bag and it flops around everywhere đ€ŠđŒââïžđ€ŠđŒââïžđ§ đĄ bruhhhh. I actually take care of mine. Money is hard to come by nowadays. I don't take ANYTHING for granted. You're just too big-money, tossing your camera around like it's nothing đđđjk
