Trabant 1.1 - Why It Was Unsuccessful

Hello everyone! This video is about last Trabant in history (model 1.1). Trabant 1.1 was an attempt to modernize outdated Trabant 601 and start the new era of Trabant brand. But there were not money left to do some radical changes so Trabant 1.1 was only a facelift of Trabant 1.1. This wasn’t acceptable in 1990s and this model doomed the Trabant brand to extinction.

I think the 1.1 would of worked better if released in the early 80s. It’s sad to see IFA gone but memories were made that no one would forget;)
