I have fished these Jetties in Murrells Inlet many times both from a boat and from the actual Jetties. The fishing is good at certain times of the year. I have actually caught 44" red drum off those Jetties. I have a photo of some of those big drum in one of my shorts (I only recently started posting on my page) I use to fish the Jersey Shore all the time before we moved down here many many years ago. I do a lot of creek and River fishing too

If ya ever come back use fiddlers and scrape barnacles and fish the outside 2 hours after low tide.

Hell yeah thanks for the tip. You get black drum maybe sheepshead potentially doing that?

      @@SaltBrosOutdoors yes sir!.
Their usually around until the water temp drops below 56ish. Fish close to if not on the rocks.

I'll be making my way down from Ohio in June to fish the jetty. Last year I did really good n Spanish mackerel and blue fish and wheat fish. Got a few sharks too.

That may have been a Sandbar shark. You could have put some ray on a hook and caught much bigger sharks. That one mile walk is no joke but worth it at times.
