Went kayaking last weekend in Barnegat and saw a big dorsal fin and tail sticking out of the water around sunrise, it was probably one of these guys.

That may have been a Sandbar shark. You could have put some ray on a hook and caught much bigger sharks. That one mile walk is no joke but worth it at times.

Teach your friend how to hold a pole...now there is something that could get you shit on..my advice would be let her pick out her own pole..and don't give her rusty hooks...
