    Tumeric is a blood thinner, so anyone whose blood is already thin is perhaps in danger! One food does not fit all, and perhaps we should just to back to eating the whole foods we enjoy, making sure that the fruit we eat is ripened on its source for full complement of vitamins and minerals, throw in a little bit of what we fancy (the occasional piece of chocolate cake), not over or under-hydrate, and relax!

    You guys (Travis and Andrew) need to do another segment on cellphones and cancer. I watched your repeated January episode the other day, and you guys said that cellphones do not cause cancer. They ABSOLUTELY DO! First, in the manual, read the portion in the back of the booklet when you first purchase your cellphone, in small writing, they say how to use your cell phone so you won't get too much radiation, and it DOES read that cellphones can cause health problems. Of course they aren't going to flat out say that cellphones cause cancer, because they would get sued left and right, and they would loose an incredible amount of money. Also, I HEARD AND SAW on the news with my own ears, and eyes, that they have found a link to cellphones and cancer!!!! The segment was SO short, that if you blinked, you would have missed it. I already knew that cellphones caused cancer, but seeing it on the news shocked me, because I didn't think anyone would admit it because it's such a multibillion dollar business. But I don't trust the TV show the doctors anymore after seeing the "Debunked" segment regarding cellphones not causing cancer. THEY DO CAUSE CANCER!!! Radiation IS BAD, no matter how much we are being exposed to! Turmeric is anti-cancer and I will take it for the rest of my life, because we are in the days of cellphones and cell towers overload, and in my opinion, they are part of the reasons why cancer has increased.

    Hahaha last comment eat some good Indian food. Dude please a jug of the spice only has like 3% of the active ingredient. You need to extract the cucumin from it. How many tubs of tumeric does 1 indian dish contain. it better be made out of 10jug full and the person better eat it all for it to do any good. He thinks he's making a smart comment.

      I'm not saying that you're experience isn't valid, but from where I'm from we use turmeric MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY! Its in every food and even in some drinks. And it has never been associated with miscarriage in our community!
      That being said, maybe your body or genetic origins reacted differently. Either way, sorry for your loss!

    • @withramya
      @withramya Před 7 lety +4

      I agree with ShahiMehndi. Turmeric is not associated with miscarriages culturally where it is used a lot (not more than 1 -3 tea spoons a day though! So unless you had a large amount, I highly doubt it caused miscarriage.
