Given how WWE is now, I'm surprised Braun Strowman and Nicholas didn't make top 10
They released Braun Strowman and probably Nicholas' referee father, too.
🤣🤣🤣 stop it man. I still can’t believe they did that and thought it was a good idea.

I'm surprised 😂😂😂😂😂😂 but WWE fan boys talk crap about AEW...
Cornette should do a top 50 list of Tag teams, I would be interested in seeing that one
I think he's said somewhere his top 10 not in any order would include some of the following
Warriors
Midnights
Tully and Arn

Harts
Hardys
Edge and Christian

I think The Hardy's at their peak is also another team that was so over during the companies best years number wise
WWE's best years numbers wise were in the Hulkamania era. The combined WCW & WWF numbers in the late 1990s were huge (, but till not as big as 1987-89 WWF. Highest number of combined viewers in the Monday Night wars era was around an 11.0 rating. Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant on SNME in 1988 had a TV rating of around 38.3. In the Monday Night wars era WWF ran 1 house show per night at an average of 11,000 fans. In the Hulkamania era WWF ran 3 house shows per night at an average of 27,000 fans. Highest PPV Buy rate of the Attitude Era was 2.4. WM3 did an 8.0. The bottom line $ figure were higher in the 1990s because of higher ticket prices, more PPVs and much more easily available, but there were almost 4 times the amount of people watching in the Hogan era.

Jimmy's naughty naughty with Nancy in that hotel room ruined the chance of one of potentially the greatest teams ever. Vince was getting ready to push the South Pacific Connection Steamboat and Snuka as the next big face team after Windham and Rotundo. Snuka had other ideas for a push and pushed Nancy's head into the night stand. The Bulldogs would slide into that spot and Steamboat would become the dragon ...and Snuka would become ... nervous every time he heard a police siren.

@John Gallagher First the South Pacific Connection teamed, albeit briefly, in 1985 two years after the Nancy Argentino incident and there was already plans to get rid of Snuka because of the pending civil lawsuit with the family against Snuka. There was absolutely no intention to ever push them as a team. Windham and Rotundo, now Rotunda, were too over with the fans and box office to have any team pushed over them. When Axe, and then Smash came out as #1 and #2 in the 1989 RR, everybody I knew blew a gasket!
An often forgotten team, is the heels of Professor Tanaka (they didn't even get his gimmick name right) and Mr. Fuji, who held the titles 3 times and is the second longest running Tag-team (combined days) in WWE/WWF/WWWF History, with 559 days. I would definitely put them in the top 5. Not only at a 18th.
And the fact that Mr. Fuji also held the belt with Mr. Saito, two times, with 363 days combined, makes Mr. Fuji the longest reigning tag-team champion in the history of WWE.
Even as a HUGE Kane fanatic, I laughed when I saw The Undertaker and him, in the top 10. They held the titles for like 40 days - over two combined reigns. So NO!
Kane and Big Show held the titles for almost half a year, and I would never consider them even in the top 10. This list is so laughable.
Lastly - Demolition, the longest reining tag-team champions (combined) in the HISTORY of WWE, are not even in the top 10. I was NEVER a fan of Demolition, but they sure as hell deserve to be there a lot more than some of the teams mentioned there.
You read my mind, you never hear about Fuji and Tanaka when they talk about great tag teams... the 70's had some good ones that need more recognition, the valiants, the executioners, the Vachons, the kangaroo's, the strongbows, The Mongols, The Blackjacks .. I could go on and on
Mr. Saito also held The AWA Championship and joined with both Nick Bockwinkel and Bobby Heenan to administer a classic 3 on 2 thrashing of Stan Lane and Steve Keirn during a Fabulous Ones interview on AWA Television. Straight from the masterful Heel bag of tricks.🤔🎤🤼♂️B.W.
Couldn't agree more. Demolition over the last 30 years have probably been forgotten about more than any great tag team from the 80's on. Undertaker's popularity is the only reason him&Kane are on it. And yes even though I didn't like any of em the Dudleys,Hardys & Edge& Christian were great teams but there's no way in HELL all 3 of them should be in the top 10, for one it makes it too top heavy with teams from the late 90's to today. Of course all WWE lists and frankly just about every damn sports list anymore is 🙄. Probably bc most of that shit is put together by the under 40 crowd. Being in that age range I know most don't know or care about anything that happened before they were born.
Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake were a great team for the mid eighties. Them, Hart Foundation and The Bulldogs all had classic matches.

@Charming Billy you’re entitled to your opinion even though it stinks like asshole.
Demolition was just a cheap carbon copy knock off of the road warriors because Vince was unable to sign the road warriors at that time. For you to say demolition could work is indicating that the road warriors couldn’t. @@myhandlewastaken Imagine thinking that Scott Steiner before he became BPP wasn't better than Rick. Scott Steiner was one of the most talented wrestlers ever before the BPP change. Steiner Brothers to me are the greatest tag team EVER!
New age outlaws in four way tag championship match when they were tagged in with each other and did a quick pin and ran off with the titles was one of my favorite moments. Also shaving hawk to trigger the natural merge into DX was such a pinpoint of that era but even in the DX faction they stood out on their own very well.
The Killer Bees were always my favorite tag-team in the WWF(E)
New Day might be in my top 30. But just off the top my head Road Warriors, Edge and Christian, Dudleyz, Hardyz, Von Erichs,Brothers of Destruction, Eddie and Chavo, Enzo and Cass, Bushwhackers, Rosie and Jamal, Nash and Hall, HHH and HBK, Harts,
The hart foundation for me. One was a great technician and the other was a powerhouse. The perfect combination.
I'm honestly surprised the Mega Powers didn't get more love. I know it was only for a short time, but they certainly were memorable
The Hardy Boyz were my all time favorite. They are #1 on my list and nothing could ever change my mind.
If you were young at the time,
I though the New Day were very annoying when they 1st came in to the WWE when they were heels but once they became baby faces I thought they were still annoying but funny with their pancake gimmick that they always did. Also Demolition also created the Demolition rule where 1 alternate team member (ex Crush) could still defend the Championship if one of them was injured. One good thing that the the New Day did as a Team is introduced the return of the Hardy Boyz.
did you just give credit for the Freebird rule to Demolition?
Here comes the video that I've been waiting for since last week.
Best top 30 list EVER!

1. The Legion of Doom
(Hawk and Animal)
The Steiner Brothers are the best tag team in my honest opinion, they looked and were legit and there matches had cool moves frankinsteiner but still looked like fight.
Top five absolutely. I'd pick the Road Warriors #1
The top 10 should be tag teams that were naturally together already
As in a romantic relationship?
The Natural Disasters were very intimidating to me as a kid back then.
Oscar was mad that Men on The Mission weren't on the list.
Wow he's still alive lol?
@@genecide6869 Yes, He's 58. He does a podcast with Boston Wrestling on Monday Nights.
Singles wrestlers who "moonlighted" as a tag combo shouldn't be included on this list. (ie. Big Show and Jericho).
True, to an extent
Why not? They were the Tag Team champions and main evented shows as a tag team. By your logic a team like Rated RKO shouldn't be on this list either.
@@quentinkaasa47 what about the rock and sock connection?
The Bulldogs are easily the best, especially given that most other teams had their best matches against them.
1. Road Warriors/Legion of Doom
2. Hart Foundation
3. The British Bulldogs
4/5/6. Dudley Boys/Edge & Christian/Hardy Boys (any order you want)
7. The Rockers
8. New Age Outlaws
9. The New Day
10. Demolition
I don’t put two established singles stars put together as a tag team for a short period on my list so no Mega Powers, Rock and Sock or Taker and Kane for me
1:51 Did you leave the immersion on at home Brian? 🤣🤣 "Oh my god!"
new day must sell a crazy amount of stuff. they're happy, fun guys but....classic matches? i'm struggling. edge and christian have like 3 TLCs where everyone virtually tried to kill themselves in crazy stunt shows.
Thier matches with the Usos, the bar and the 6 man with the shield
Their promo work with the Usos were great. But Usos carried the matches. No one remembers their feud with the shield. The Wyatts vs Shield fued is more memorable.
only shield stuff i really got into was evolution. thank goodness moxley left so the shield could forever die.
New Day vs Usos, Wyatts, FTR, they've had some good ones.
We all know WWE’s pattern with lists like this. They throw the old fans a bone by including some actual great teams/wrestlers, but it’s ultimately just a ruse to convince the modern audience that the current roster really is over, and really is great.
Edit: 11:06…..And there it is
You are spot on they always do this I will never understand.
@@pleaseshutup7053 Because they know they suck and want their under 30 age audience to still think they're relevant.
Yes it is hype. Like each star of the era is the best ever. Starting with Bruno, Hulk, Bret, Stone Cold, Cena, Roman
Ive been waiting for this since i first saw the list.
10. The Mega Powers
9. The Usos
8. The Rockers
7. The New Day
6. Edge & Christian
5. The Road Warriors
4. The British Bulldogs
3. The Dudleyz
2. The Hart Foundation
1. The Hardy Boyz
I gladly forfeit "my spot" to a member of Techno Team 2000 or The Ding Dongs 🧁 or ANYONE else...BK won't even notice 🤣
I hope you and Brian Kendrick were on that list somewhere.
My picks Hart Foundation, Demolition, British Bulldogs, The Rockers, The Brainbusters, Legion Of Doom 80s early 90s. Dudley Boys, Hardy Boys, Edge & Christian late 90s. Los Guerreros, Haas & Benjamin early 00s.
No new age outlaws
Now that's a list there.
One would think Hulk Hogan and Mr. T made the WWF more money than any other tag team, and by a wide margin. They got a ton of media coverage in 1985.
I just watched king of the ring 98 lmao I seen cornett and I started laughing I remember him talking about bob holy and bart Gunn being a team
It was there in person and had forgotten about that match entirely until I looked at the card just last week.
Batista and Rey Mysterio's tag team was good, in spite of both being individual draws. If they had to pick people who were not stars on their own but solely as a tag team, the Dudleys are up there.
Why did God take Eddie Guerrero away? It should have been Rey Mysterio, maybe that guy in AAA would still be here too...
1. Road Warriors
2. The Dudley Boyz
3. Edge and Christian
4. The Hardy Boyz
5. The Hart Foundation/British Bulldogs
The Bushwhackers cracked me up the most.
The hardy boyz biggest wrestlemania moment was the triangle ladder match, tlc match and brother one on one match. The New Days biggest wrestlemania moment was introducing the hardy boyz return lol
Typical WWE trying to rewrite history for their own purposes. 🙄
It's their scripted history you Worried about the wrong shit

Hey the natural disasters were a really good heel team.
Pretty good, IMO but not deserving of top 10.
@@downwithputinsaveukraine1313 true, they are not in my top 10

@@downwithputinsaveukraine1313 I thought they were in the 30s.
I loved ND! I saw them as one of the only teams that could believably give LOD a hard time.
1. Demolition
2. Hart Foundation
3. The British Bulldogs
4. The Steiners
5. The Legion of Doom
6. New Age Outlaws
7. Rockers
8. Dudley Boys
9. Hardy Boys
10. Natural Disasters
Honorable mentions
1. Twin Towers
2. Mega Powers
The Rockers over the Dudley boys?
@@OmegaRedFan I'd say yeah. This is just my personal list and I was a bigger fan in the late 80's early 90's than during the attitude era. But no one can deny that the rockers were definitely top five as far as best workers as a tag team. The main issue is they just really never got an opportunity to be on top. Dudleys had more success than the rockers, but I was doing more of my personal top ten.
The rockers 7?
@@NeilTennantsWifey Based on the fact they were over and were one of the better worker tag teams ever. The main issue with the Rockers was they were never pushed. If they had been pushed they may of even been higher on my list.
@@cys-fi6230 I love them and that's final loved them more then I ever loved the hart foundation.
When he said the Brisco Brothers and laughed killed me 🤣🤣🤣
Re: whether any teams after the Dudley Boys had that level of overness: I’d give New Day that. They weren’t the Midnights in terms of ring work, and the act is stale IMO, but they had a little buzz with their initial heel run, and they did have Kofimania in 2019. No way they belong at 1 though.
If they were around 8 to 10, I wouldn't complain bc they were together and held the belts a long time but have been super stale/lame for years. I think B.O.D. should be too 4 or 5.
Them riding Kofi Kingston's pigtails to the "best" match @ that year's WrestleMania doesn't count.
Then they had Brock Lesnar killed Kofimania
How can The New Day even qualify? There's 3 members; that makes them a faction, not a tag team.
Freebird Rules, same reason UE is on the list.
@@thelinedrive Freebirds were a stable
The freebird rule is a rule where any two members of a stable can defend the tag titles regardless of which two members actually won those titles

And who, in the WWE,has the right to judge tag team wrestling? The general rule is that tag Wrestling is on the downward trend there. Vince hates because it isn't cost effective.
