- So... I spent some time with the newly-released #Huawei #MatePad #T10s. It's a budget tablet but the software is what I want to focus here.

Ummm, I use this for my online class. I am a graduating medical student. My classmates invested on an iPad and other expensive tablets while I was only able to afford this one. But guess what? I'm more productive than them, this tablet works for me. I was able to download all the Google services with no hassle, I can attend classes virtually with clear camera and good audio pick up. Well sorry for you, I didn't regret buying the tablet.

my only ipad/ tablet routines are just spotify, youtube, browsing, and ebook/ pdf. is it worth to buy this with the given considerations?
my old generation ipad has finally worn out, after 3years of use. it happened after i updated the OS with heavy duty work like reading and surfing. so now im considering buying new one with cheaper price after being disappointer to apple.
I suggest you to get either the new iPad or the Samsung Galaxy Tab instead. This Huawei tablets has decent hardware, but the software is just unusable.

I did extensive research on Samsung and ended up with T10s.
It can run all the apps you mentioned perfectly well.
In addition it has Harmon Kardon speakers which are unparalleled in sound quality compared to Samsung

Depending on your requirement, I do have a few recommendations on top of my head.
1. iPad Mini 6th Gen - I like it because of its size
2. iPad 9th Gen - Great all-rounder tablet with good price
3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2022) - Good budget option, but the tablet lags a lot
4. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE - Great option if you want to draw at the same time
5. Xiaomi Pad 5 - Fantastic for media consumption
All the tablets I've listed above are using IPS LCD screens. For reading purposes, IPS LCD is recommended over AMOLED screens because of glare which can cause our eyes to fatigue even faster.
Also, not sure what e-book marketplace you prefer. For me, I like Apple Books the most because of its interface and features available. It's better than Google Play Books.
But if you use the Kindle app, then it's available for both Apple and Android devices.

Nope. AFAIK only higher-end Samsung tablets support that feature

No. Can't run anything on the tablet, which is a big deal-breaker.

Same thing, honestly. No Google Mobile Services means it's just not worth getting since getting basic services work on the tablet is troublesome, and those services might not work all of a sudden.
I highly suggest you to get the Samsung tablet instead.

I brought this recently and I cannot play games at all. It crashes no matter what. I tried downloading rpg games and I cant even make a profile because it crashes. Should I return it?

Hmmm... Kindles are very single-purposed. They're meant to get ebooks and the only "official" avenue to get the ebook is from the Amazon Kindle bookstore.
As for browser and Gdrive, PDF access, the Kindle can't do it. I think you should look for the Galaxy Tab A7 instead.

Maybe I can help you out now. The biggest drawback for the MatePad T10S is the lack of Google services.
So if you need Google services, then the Samsung is a default winner here.

I got this tablet recently and it is horrible , it returns back to home screen while I am in middle of my work , Firstly I thought its because I use heavy apps or games but , it does that while I'm using the browser 😫 , I don't recommend at all , I was in middle of online test and it did it to me and I am so angry 😡😡😡😡😡, that's why I'm writing this review, My advice don't buy it its a toy not a tablet

I hope Huawei one day gonna use new Exynos chipset by Samsung. A rumours said it surpass Snapdragon 865+.
Given the circumstances, I think not. Huawei will have another chip manufacturer instead.
But then again, I really hope Exynos puts up a good fight against Snapdragon.
This guy doesn't know what hes talking about I have the tablet and it runs pubg perfectly without even the need to use gfx tools. And it runs genshin impact on lowest, the fps drops for a bit that's because its rendering. But to me it runs perfectly well, its actually better than my exynos 7885, the tablet supports 1080, 60fps only if your using CZcams vanced. And not CZcams website since it's not supported I think? The battery can last you up to 12 hours just watching videos or social media, but when playing games its 5 hours, the tablet got performance mode and a game launcher, it runs better than my phone which cost a bit more than this tablet.
If it can't maintain 30fps, then it's unplayable. And buying a tablet which requires so much work to get simple things done is not a viable option. Also, CZcams Vanced is considered piracy and I absolutely do not condone it.
