Kids, are complex creatures, in their own amazing ways. So interesting to see and hear Isaac Bari, a manifestation of Childhood and Genius, finding his way in an infinitely complex world. My own Kid, Oscar, has his own unique character, and very differently finds his own way in every situation. I'd love for Oscar to have a friend just like Isaac, and for Isaac to have a friend just like Oscar, because Oscar needs to be a Genius, and Isaac needs to be a Kid, and each could learn a lot from the other. I'd not be surprised if Oscar put his hand over Isaac's mouth within a minute or two of listening. But then I'm sure the words of Isaac would soon be ringing in the background, with Oscar back at play and very interested to listen and to learn. Oscar would just want to know that there's an 'off' button, when it's needed. Isaac might be relieved to find he has an 'off' button. I'm a Dad, I sometimes feel I can't do enough to help my boy attain his full potential, and I do just let it go. That's when I'm often surprised to discover the inventiveness and instinct of Oscar runs deep, as he explores things for himself, and is somehow driven by his own inate intelligence. The Dad of Isaac does more than most parents, I'm sure, to guide his Son, I'm older and tireder than that already, but in my failings I've discovered a lesson in life, and I believe we can trust in the inherent capabilities of our kids, because those capabilities are often beyond our own capabilities, and in letting go of our control we set them free and that is a true form of love and is not parental neglect. I'm sure Isaac has greater and greater freedoms as he grows up, but yes, he's still also a child and in such a complex situation, and with so much potential. With a lot of great people influencing Isaac, I'm sure Isaac gives as much back to every one of them, it's a joy for all of humanity to have a shining star amongst us, representing the best of us. We want that honed to perfection, but that's a huge expectation, and perfection is only ever relative, to imperfection, and we all have our imperfections, and that makes every one of us unique, and Isaac is certainly unique as any child is. I feel we all need to relax, it's an invaluable skill, and I don't mean meditation, and I don't mean drinking cocktails by the pool. Just sometimes, let things be what they are, without thinking too much about everything, without expecting everything to be a certain way or to always maintain a set trajectory. Isaac might yet be anything, or anyone, and he might want to explore some possibilities outside of this present trajectory of Universal Archetypal Genius / Philosopher / Statesman / Politician. I don't want him to burn out, and I know a lot of other observers feel the same, and many of us share a love for this special little guy, and like me have wept actual tears when watching him solving complex maths, in awe of his Genius and his joy. I sometimes see him now, and I want to find that 'off' button, just as I want to find the 'off' button on my Oscar, when he wants to keep wrestling me as I'm falling asleep. Kids. They're a bit like that.

I think there is too much publicity and all that goes with it. I fear it might get to his head and he does not have the years, experience, or the physical or emotionalmaturity to handle it.
