I want to be clueless again. Go back to when I first purchased Minecraft. I thought you had to cumulatively hit a block to break it, and when that didn't work. I blamed it on my computer not being able to run it.

BeardedNutria19 I remember on my first survival world I was walking through a cave. I had my brightness on moody, When I saw some iron over in the corner near some water. I mined the iron, and looked into the water where there was some more of it. I waded through the water, past a huge pike of gravel that has fallen down when two blank eyes slowly creeped out from behind the gravel. My hair stuck up in real life from fear. Then I realized it was a squid. And to this day I don't go peeking into water in caves.
Nuget I know! I wish I was still a noob! Back in 1.8 beta.. Wow. I was like 8, and now, 12, in 1.8.6, Official release. I used to be so survivalistic about everything, and never built a house. Good times.

Sweden will always be my favorite song. It was the first song I heard in the game, and the minecraft songs were the reason why I wanted to play the game so badly. I know lots of people were bugged by the songs though, so I guess I'm that one person. It was just relaxing and a very enjoyable with the music and it really took me somewhere else back in the days when I was learning to control the character with the keyboard. Good times. Haha

wish i could replay those first memories... Playing on a server, with my friends, fucking up they're stuff, it was feeling so good, It was like a new beggining, Now My friends are playing leauge of legends, but I don't like it, old days... T_T

You know you can change the setting to back before it was ruined
blocksatjoe minecraft wasnt ruined. We just grew bored of after discovering everything and losing that addictive flame when you first get into it. The only teature that really changes the gameplay are the hunger bars

I really miss the days when this was the music that always played. I miss when minecraft was the best way to escape the real world, where I could do what I wanted. I miss the ild days when my life was still alright.

I don't intend to spread sentimental feelings, but when I was young, I would play this game with my older brother, who was about twice my age.
We played on the Xbox and build a glass house on a beach with a golden block basement. Looking back those were some of the best times of my childhood.
Almost five years later, when my brother was in high school, he ODed. This brought back some of the memories, and I'm crying, just hearing this. I was never close to my brother, as we didn't have much in common, but this game was what kept our bond alive.

I miss those first months of Minecraft..... I joined back in Beta 1.6, and i loved it because it was so simple, and so many endless things sprouted. I miss those days, because nothing, NO game can replicate it. I will miss you Minecraft, you were fun but after this time it is time to part. Goodbye... i hope to play you again one day.

I think everyone here that has played MC BEFORE like 1.0 Wants to be a noob again. I still have a love for this game, but I loved my first server, my first world, my first buildings, etc. I remember opening up MC for the first time, cracked 1.8 beta. I bought it in 1.3.2, but still played it cracked. When 1.0 came and I got it, I saw creative for the first time and built a cool town! I also discovered mods later on, like Aether. Thumbs up if you miss being a noob. Its not Minecarft thats changing, its your love for it.

I may not have played Minecraft since 1.0,
or older updates. However, I do know what it's like to come from a noob's
perspective. I once was a noob, until I learned how to do pretty much
everything. And I'm still a 'noob' even to this day! When I first got Minecraft
when 1.7 came out, I had no idea what anything was. I didn't know there was
such a thing as a spider jockey, nor did I know how to use coords. When I first
started playing Minecraft, I started in creative because I was looking forward
to building limitless things. But, after a while I decided to try out survival.
This was not an easy first day. I had to look up how to make a torch, pickaxe,
crafting table, door, etc. But after learning, I certainly became better. But
of course, I was too afraid to face mobs so I kept it on peaceful. But now
days, I try to face up to the mobs. Of course, I still get freaked out whenever
I see a creeper. (Or a witch.)

Hearing this just brings me back to the good days of gaming. Not even just Minecraft, but everything. Coming home from high school and jumping on Xbox Live with a bunch of your friends and playing for hours at a time. Talking about how you can't wait for this game or that game to drop. "You gonna buy that new map pack man?" Things like that. I'll always remember those days of gaming. It just seems like I've outgrown it in a way. I've tried to get that feeling back with newer systems and titles but, nothing will ever come close to the old days...

Oh man, people are out here commenting from four years ago... It's 2019 now... 10 years. 10. Years. The nostalgia is so heavy. If anyone stumbles upon this video ever, then I suggest also checking out Starbound's soundtracks. They're really good too.

This song is about looking at or reflecting on your experience come to pass. Whenever I hear it, it makes me want to cry. Minecraft is such a beautiful and creative game, it managed to set a standard for every person alike. The depth that goes within every player and their abilities is so fascinating; the world's tone sets the setting for a story and what you build is telling the story. This also proves that video game music can be as irenic and elegant as regular songs.
+ThePC007 And even though you and I may have liked the first few versions, the reason we might hate the current version is because nobody, nobody AT ALL likes change.
And kids at school hate this game, I just don't see how. Do they think their masculinity or their maturity is at risk when they talk about this game? The friendliest and most intelligent people I know have this game on their phone, their consoles, and their PC. If they're afraid of being belittled for playing a kid's game, then they should know what experience their missing out on.
Quick tip: Try to avoid multiplayer unless you know or are comfortable with the people you're playing with. I have made so many different friends by facing my introverted fears and going on a public server. I go on that server every week or so now, it's all about collaboration and friendliness. I wish I knew this tip earlier, it would of saved me a lot of frustration trying to talk to people with common interests.
If you read this, thank you. My opinions shouldn't matter, but I think it should've been explained from the start.
To be honest, I love this game, but it's been 2 years since I played it, I think I was only on 1.3, but the games simplicity was what I loved the most, the music was so calming, and everyone got along. Now at my school kids are either fighting about who's better at pvp, or wether the game is good or not (freshmen year of high school). Wonder if it's still good to this day (not a fan of watching video game gameplay)

It's great how this music can connect you to your memories of playing Minecraft. And how those memories of playing Minecraft can connect you to other things, like the memories of the people you used to play with and what you experienced while playing with friends. This music brings back so many good memories, and also reminds you of the fun you are not having anymore :/
I never knew why but I always found Minecraft music very peaceful in a way. I actually once fell asleep to it. I know, crazy right. But whenever I hear this I always have flash backs to when I first played Minecraft. A new beginning, a new world with nothing to to but to explore. Ah I miss the old Minecraft. ^_^ Like if you do to.

this music makes me think. It makes me want the past back again. I remember playing on saturdays when it was raining I would build the ugliest things but now that i look back at it I cherish those moments. I almost wish Mojang/Microsoft would delete all the versions after 1.2.5. Thinking about these things makes me want to cry. And I know that sounds like "wow ur a pussy" but memories like i've had with this game with my friends and by myself are unforgettable.

FrancisVids Me and my brother, when we first ever played the game, made a frickin DIRT mansion and it sucked, but then a while they made diamond blocks and we made the place even worse with replacing dirt with diamond, it was just hilarious, we couldn't even make a roof correctly because we had never played before, ahh memories of when my brother actually wanted to hang out and play with me ;-;
loading up a world for the first time... punching a tree... building a dirt house quickly to escape monsters... crafting a pickaxe... finding a cave to mine in... finding coal and iron... crafting armour... killing zombies... mining diamonds for the first time... building a nether portal... doing whatever you please, no restrictions or responsabilities or rules. thank you minecraft, for creating some of my favourite memories...
This reminds me of a couple years back. I played this with a used-to-be friend every day. We had so much fun. Now, I don't speak to him anymore. We ignore eachother at school and I don't know why. Listening to this music makes me cry everytime. When I play minecraft with my new friends and hear this music I get very depressed. God I miss the time we build our first house. God I miss these minecraft times. God I miss my friend...

I still remember playing on the original tutorial world with my friends when the game just came out on 360. Such innocent and fun days. I wish I wouldn't have taken them for granted and grown up so fast😥
The old 2011 footage really takes me back
When I'm 90 years old in a nursing home and can't remember anything, this music is going to be one of things that jolts me back to reality for half an hour or so. There's a whole world tucked away in this music, and it's beautiful.

I remember when I was too lazy to build a house in minecraft survival, so I just switched to creative built a bush,put some stuff in it (Even an enchanting table) and that was my "house".
That is such a MAJOR factor of nostalgia for me... it drives me crazy just trying to re imagine Minecraft as it was....

Sweden always reminds me of the candy land hunger games by stampy. To this day, it’s still my favorite Minecraft video for its simple comedic elements and them just playing with friends, not caring about having to make new videos. ❤️
I really like this you know that so many people are actively inspired and saturated in the nostalgia of this game and so keeping the quality up make transitions but make them quick to not ruin your promise to the community and purpose of the video. This is awesome, thank you. I love how well and smooth but most of all "humanly" you played this to represent the emotions of the songs and the ideas that come with them.

Dear god, I'm getting the most insane sense of nostalgia. This is possibly the greatest game I have ever and will ever play. I would love to thank Notch for creating a masterpiece such as this. No matter what this world comes to, I will never stop playing minecraft. Even up until the day I die.
This really just brought back a lot of memories.
I remember playing in the earlier versions of minecraft, before all of this other stuff like before 1.8. It just makes me want to cry even thinking about it. Its just so beautiful how a small sandbox game got so big.
i like the fact that he made mistakes. it just shows you that he is a real person, and that he isnt using computer software to correct it. you rock man.
Its strange with these early access games, to not be able to go back to the version of the game you started with. Its like a childhood memory that you can never relive, but maybe that makes it even more special.

Nothing will bring back the same feeling you had when you first played Minecraft.
These three tracks are all synonymous of each other for me, and they all mean the title of Calm 1 for me: 'Minecraft'. To here these tracks is like travelling back to when I played classic for the first time, when these were the only tracks in the game. It's like 'hearing' the last 3 years of my life.
Who else remembers, When you finally get the game and start playing it , the music calms you.. hunting and building what ever your heart contents in the world , When night comes the music helps you after you got attacked by your first mob, and deciding to play with your friends (if you have any),and Building Massive master pieces , getting scared when you hear a cave noise, Exploring the cave with your friends , Saving your friends (really max I didn't need to help you out of that gravel), and finding ores, Finding out lava isn't friendly, losing your items, Redoing everything, and just feeling happy and proud in what you build, ahh the good ol. Days when it was peaceful and you didn't need to worry about griefers raiding your world , I miss this minecraft it was what I looked forward to after a long day of school and chores 🙂

When i didn't know what minecraft was yet, my friend used to tell me stories about that he has this tall, big house in snow. When i loaded the game for the first time....beautiful expirieance.... making your first pickaxe...making first house in cave... watching sunset....beautiful memories
