The Dragonzord is the ironic zord of Tommy Oliver from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
The ZAP Dragonzord is the second Megazord in the Z.A.P line and combines with the Megazord to make the Mega Dragonzord and Dragonzord in Battle mode.

Your review was great and encouraged me to pick up a discounted zap megazord off Hasbro’s eBay page. I have the legacy ultrazord but I have that as a display piece, the zap line I intend to actually PLAY with. I’ll eventually pickup the zap Dragonzord when I see it on sale.

I feel you on the TIGHT joints. Both my dragonzord's ankles were SO tight. I wiggled them each for so long until both budged. I felt so stressed that it was going to break. Luckily, they didn't! Sounded like you've had good luck the joints too!

People try to talk these down so much however i really prefer them over the SOCs due to weight.
Besides that the originals were full plastic not diecast plus the painted details vs stickers are a very nice change up.

If i learned something from many products is that just because it has diecast it dosen't make it good from the get go specially when the diecast compromise the joint tolerance

I think the ZAPs are getting too much bad rap for not featuring die cast, no where did it say it was suppose to. They're very well articulated and well detailed, and best of all its a fun toy.

Had the original Dragonzord back in 1994. Absolutely unbelievable.

For the Dragonzord, ZAP wins for the OG Megazord .. SOC wins.

I think they both have good points. However, value and over shelf appearance def slides in ZAP favor.
