Now gopro released a floating (and short) selfie stick to hook in the mouth mount shown on your video. Gopro calls it "the handler" (model AFHGM-003). I have both but not genuine as they're much more expensive here where I live.
I have the handler, but I rarely use it. I use the floaty on the gopro for the most part, and thats it. I use a self stick quite a bit more with the GoPro Max, so i use the floating handle with the tripod mount because it connects to the Insta 360 selfie stick directly

@@erbartlett link not working. I cant find any floating handle like the one you mentioned, ending in a screw to add it as an extension to a self-stick.
I thought you did need it, but I’m getting feedback you can just turn it on without putting the Max Lens mod on. I’ll test it and make a follow up video. It would be a bit more cropped in and not as wide angle with out the Lens Mod but some people might prefer that

No waterproof case? Are these cameras (eg Gopro10) lasting very long in seawater with wind sports now you’ve had a few years since this video?
Never used a case, never had an issue.
I either lose my GoPro under the water or crack it on rocks. Never had one die because of water

Do you need the max lens mod for horizon lock to work on GoPro 10?

I can’t find just the handle either, sorry. Here’s a full kit and the bottom handle floats and has a tripod 1/4 20 screw
