It took Mayweather 20 more rounds to get rid of Castillo convincingly than it took Hatton. Sure it was 5 years later but no boxer ever loses his punch or his heart. He may have lost some speed, so it meant Hatton found it easier to hit him than Floyd did back in '02 but I think PBF's speed would have got to Castillo as easy as Hatton got to him this year.
If the ref had let him infight it would have been a closer fight,but no one could touch Floyd once he was counter defense/offence he was mesmerizing to watch the way he could take the best boxers and make them look average at distance, hatton never stood a chance without pressure boxing being allowed.
So Castillo's lack of speed, Power and Heart was not a factor which caused his loss against Ricky this year, it was Hattons ability that won the day. Just something to ponder over
