Agreed, I get what he's saying about macadamia nuts because those are the reason I love them, but cashews are absolutely delicious. They're sweet, fatty, and have an interesting crunch/chew

I honestly clicked on this for background noise. Then I assumed It would be a surface level amount of entertainment, then the whole conversation about advice and criticism and connection in ter.s of parenthood happened and now I'm examining my whole way of parenting 😅

When I started my photography business, I charged lower than market prices to build a clientele. Over time and practice I slightly improved. After being in the industry for awhile I established contacts with other more successful photographers. I offered second camera services to these photographers to learn from them. That’s when I saw a lot of improvement.

Fun fact: Macadamia nuts are NOT Hawaiian. Although they are strongly associated with Hawaii and we are known for those kinds of farms, they-just like pineapples-are NOT native to Hawaii. Macadamia nuts are from Australia, pineapples are from South America

And there’s only one native palm in Arizona, hidden in a remote canyon in the Kofa Mountains. But at this point, I think it’s okay to say macadamia nuts and pineapples are from Hawaii. They’re grown and shipped from there. It’s more of a colloquial term. At some point, all vegetation was originally from somewhere else, but now it grows in this area because it was brought here. Idk, life spreads everywhere.

I drink a smoothie with chia seeds in it daily and my solution to them getting stuck in my teeth is two-fold. First you need to chew your smoothie in-between gulps. Second you get a piece of gum and chew on it for a few minutes.
I swear I remember Rhett talking about how much he loves Marcona almonds. Which are, wait for it, skinless almonds.
The blue diamond bold sweet thai chili almonds are so good. I've also tried korean barbecue and Mexican street corn. Both good but not as good as the thai chili.

11:23 Planter's honey roasted peanuts are not nearly as good as any brand of glazed peanut. I remember constantly asking my parents for honey roasted, not realizing that I wanted glazed.

If I recall correctly, almonds contain an appetite suppressing enzyme.
I prefer pistachios (if shelled) and hazelnuts over macadamias. Almonds are good.

The best boiled peanuts I ever had were cooked with bacon. Bought a bag from a guy sitting outside of bowling alley that I was visiting with my grandma and uncle. Haven't seen anyone else make them this way since that day. Also, I love cashews, macadamias, pecans, and pistachios, when it comes to nuts. I also enjoy pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.

They do sell skinned almonds, at least in Finland. And if you want to skin more than one and not look nuts while doing it in your mouth, they can be dropped in boiling water for a minute, and the skin comes off easily.
The worst nut is cashew nut, if you ask me. They taste like sour milk.

Macadamia's are native to Australia not Hawaii and of course you can eat them from the tree (if you have a hammer)! Delicious!
Hate to be that person but fresh celery juice first thing in the morning really works 😅 I did that for a few years when I used to be healthy and it did wonders. Everytime I skipped it I felt like crap. But I was making it every other day, everyday is just not realistic.
