I have roots of swedish vikings. My grandfather gave me a book when I got 18.
This is our family tree and history back to ~ 943 a.d.
Since I was a child something pushed me to the north but my family only travelled to warm countries...
I got 18 at may 12 in 1962...
At july 1 in the same year I was the first time in Sweden.
Now I know all the viking countries and I love them all.
Peyton brings me always closer to my roots and his voice is doing something great with me...

I had a one armed path of the zealot barbarian that was a follower of Tyr. His rage was triggered by him witnessing injustice.

That is so cool! I recently made a Goliath Barbarian who is a follower of Odin, and when he rages his eyes glaze over, and it’s almost as if Odin himself is controlling him

He was a Berserkir, a holy champion of gods thrice, of Lugh, of Sif, and of Bahamut. Born of the joining of both Celts and Norsemen. As he swung his blade, the hefty greatsword wrought of adamantine, his hair, once long, curly, and midnight black, glowed a glorious gold, flowing ethereal and eternal. His eyes, once a blazing ember, were platinum white. His blood boiled, a stench of war wafting off of his divine state. Death was nigh, his death, as his entire divine state drained him of all his energies.
His adamantine blade struck an undead warrior's katana, _shattering_ it as if it were but a toothpick. A bastard sword tried to take his head off, yet the god amongst men, if only temporarily, brought his greatshield up, before rushing forward, slamming the heavy shield into the warrior, crippling the warrior who dared to oppose the man.
A dao came at him. The straight sword's wielder, a woman with piercing amber eyes and hair almost exactly like the holy warrior's, was nimble to avoid the counterattack, as the great claymore, in a swift motion, attempted to decapitate the woman. The whites of her eyes were black, gifting her a hellish or abyssal appearance.
"So you show your face, brother?" the woman asks, her voice filled with disdain at the holy warrior. Her voice was like honey, but filled ever so with malice and hatred that it tainted it.
"It seems I have," the warrior says, his voice worn and deep.
With a wordless reply, they assumed a battle stance, one, a traditional Chinese guard, the other, a heavy sword and board stance.
The woman was first to attack, quick, striking true, but doing nothing against the heavy armor that the berserkir had. The warrior retaliated with a booming roar, a spell of thunder, nearly shattering the woman's eardrums, before planting his shield in front of him and rushing forward, a technique that he learned from his long years of training. His attack was evaded, leaving him open, before the dao of the woman thrust forward, piercing his chainmail, though not even making him _flinch_ . He only retaliated with a double-handed swing of his sword, the six foot blade coming down in a slow, heavy swing. It struck true, and sent the woman back some ten feet. The woman used her sword to land on her feet, crouched down, ready to kill.
She raised herself up, demonic wings sprouting from her back. She released a miasma of death, killing any plantlife left on the battlefield. The warrior sneered, returning the favor with a stance, a brow twitching, before a thunderous _boom_ resounded across the lands. Clouds formed, as acid rain began to fall. Thunder and lightning rained upon the gounds, and soon, howling winds began, with the initial rain becoming a freezing, bone-chilling torrential, oceanic downpour. The warrior face was drenched, and his breath shown in fog, his cloak damaged a bit, and his teeth chattering. The Storm of Vengeance, the strongest spell he knew, and one that took _everything_ to maintain...
