Kaaaate😍😍🥰🥰 my classmate from high school 😁😁😁😁 great seeing you giiiirl🤗
Nice!!! Good to see someone who knows her here.
@@TheJumzTV BEFORE SECONDARY SCHOOL WAS FIVE
Ghanaians don’t go to public secondary schools cos is cheap, we go cos it’s quality
Just wanted to correct that
I’ve gotten to find that out.
Very interesting lady
You look smart
This is correct
Am from Ghana and honestly speaking she still has Ghanaian blood flowing through her veins. Much love from Ghana to Nigerian.. shout-out to all my Nigerian Folks 🇬🇭❤️🇳🇬
You had the job easily in Nigeria bcos of Ghana certificate.
It has more value especially the school you completed
I remember her ...very popular and twi expert. She's all grown and adorable. Welcome back to Ghana Kate.
That’s great.
She still has strong Ghanaian accent when she speaks English, As a Twi man myself I couldnt get myself to doing the intro you asked her to do, there is no Hi in twi, its nice to be here(saying it in twi will not sound right in ones ear) 3y3 me d3 s3 mewoha.
😂 I genuinely like your honesty.
So, the one you typed is the literal translation?
@@TheJumzTV yes
From the little that i can explain in Twi is, Yuoo!!! anuanom ɛyɛ me (anigye / anijy) pii sɛ y'ashiamu wɔ ha
Ghana shs is the best experience you can give your child. Full of memories and life skills
Wow! Interesting.
People don't want to go to public school because it's cheap but it's quality, normally people who couldn't make it to public schools because of weak grades rather goes to the private schools
As a Ghanaian we are proud to be who we are
Well public education in Ghana is far better in terms of quality compared to private schools
So I heard as well.
Be specific SHS n university
@@kissphamous5451Except basic level from High school to university the public schools are better.
Public SHS and University.. just for emphasis and clarity
You are 100 % right about the food . I live in The US and when the ladies prepare banku it does taste like the one in Ghana . Public SHS in Ghana is better than private SHS .
Oh! You share same sentiments?
@@TheJumzTV yes.
@@TheJumzTV oh everyone knows this oo
@@nynini4900 ohh, but some people cook really well regardless of their location.
Secondary school food has nothing to do with Ghanaian food. Those foods were made up by students just for survival. Being in a boarding school is like being in on hustling field. As long as it wont ki!ll you then you are good to go. Even those of us not in boarding schools find those foods weird.
It's not made by students but canteen staff but hmmmmm
@@AbedSelorm-rn8st Not referring to the food that is provided by the school but the ones students themselves make from their meager resources.
We want a part 2 ooo... we want to hear her experiences in SHS and GIMPA
😂 we shall look into that.
Solid one
I left the shores of Ghana at the age of 17 and still can speak and write fante. What that girl claimed to know was not twi, maybe igbo mixed with yoruba and some charlie
Allen, do you speak other languages apart from English and Fante?
@@mirabel_rs yes I do please
Allen dear am not sure, it's very possible that she understood it well back then, plus fante is mostly your mother tongue and you most likely spoke it from childhood up until now....
So this igbo yoruba concotion is a language that is spoken in Ghana. I see why there are many Ghanaians that don't like Twi speakers, very arrogant.
The initial rationale for the 4 year SHS was to improve the SHS course content to the level of GCE A Level and reduce university education to 3 years. I left Ghana in 2004 so don’t know why it was shelved. This girl really looks and sound Ghanaian.
this is the most honest nd comprehensive impression from a nigerian ihave ever watched. This conversation was dope.
Oh! That’s interesting.
Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I doubt this girl was a 10 in twi if she does not remember the twi word for friend.
And do you know what it means to be a 10 in twi? Even most people who were born and bred in Ghana especially those who didn’t grow up in typical twi speaking areas aren’t perfect in twi
She seems so sweet. It’s great to experience 2 different societies. It makes you a better person.
She sure is a lovely person.
My one and only okonji. One of our entertainers back in okuapemman senior high. Miss you tho. This is sarkonton
Awwwwnnnn, how sweet.
Honestly, the Ghanaian lady (interviewer)looks more to me, like a Nigeria,Yoruba lady too me!!!. Africans Unite, we are one :-) ,
She’s a Nigerian oo😃😂
As in original Nigerian 😂.
She's a Nigerian 100%
A true West African 🇬🇭+🇳🇬=❤️
In Ghana, there are families that have been cooking and selling these foods for generations. They have the recipe down. Those who travel to other countries and start cooking it as a means to survive are only doing it out of necessity and so, may not have the recipe down.
Ohhh! Makes sense now but some are very good as well.
Am a Ghanaian and I schooled both in Ghana and Nigeria and I can quite remember how I was bullied by my classmates hmm it was very funny when they finally knew I could hear and understand and even to speak both languages, Yoruba and Twi or Fante 😀. All the same am very grateful to God for such opportunity. Listening to this lady brought back my old lovely memories 🙏. Am back to Nigeria with my family since 2015 and am so grateful to God for everything He has been doing for us 🙌🙌🙌
I can imagine the look on their faces when they realize you understood them.
You’re back to Nigeria? Oh! How interesting.
My sister am telling you, am a Ghanaian but they thought I don't understand the language since I lived in Nigeria for a very long time 😀. Am actually married and am here with my husband and children 🥰. Sometimes it is good to hide what u know so that u can exhibit it later when it is appropriate 😀.
One thing I have learnt living in another region or country, never speak negative or talk down about another country's food. Just say it and pass.. if their food is weird, your food too is weird to another person. Emu tuo is eating in Ghana, even Nigerians eat it and I know in the northern part of Nigeria eat emu tuo which they call tuwo shinkafa. So here you are talking down of another man's food, but your country people eat it.
You talk about Ghanaians eat milk with spaghetti, some Ghanaians can tell you who eats garri with fried fish or meat; that is also weird to another person.
In life, don't make it sound like your food is the best and then say another is bad or weird. Just say it, respect it as their cultural food and pass...
Noted.
Ghanians must find a reason to fight unnecessarily. Why not just enjoy the video and pass. Must everything be a reason to fight? Wow.
By the way, why didn't you also find a reason to nag when she commended your bank or groundnuts soup? This nagging attitude pisses me off quite much about Ghanians for real.
@@dermotwallace5533 about Ghanaians: and here you go sweeping all Ghanaians with one brush! Fair? Generalization is always wrong, even statistics leave room for errors, just in case.
Saying a food is weird isnt a bad thing she is basically saying she finds it strange. It's her opinion based on what she is used to. I am Nigerian i eat tuwon shinkafa and find akpu weird i feel it has a pungent smell (it's just a preference/opinion) it shouldnt be an issue when people express their views.
@Dermot Wallace who are more violent than you nigerians?
Our old school system was 4years before they changed it to 3years so at her time, they tried to brought back the old system and later redrawn it back that's why it happened like that
Senior high school at the time was not free. Government schools are also the best, private schools are basically the second class schools anyone would want to go beside the top tier private schools.
The four year was not time wasting but experimental to help improve the performance of the students.
Oh! That’s nice to know.
In the four year SHS, the first year is for core subjects only - English, mathematics, science, and social studies for all students. Then from year 2 to 4 is for your elective subjects and core. This four year educational period help many students to grasp the basic and also assess themselves better before choosing a program. I was part of the second batch and I'll never change it for the 3 years.
That’s lovely.
Good to know it had a lot of benefits.
For most schools I know of, the first year was wasted, sort of like the teachers know you have more time and in any case they were finishing the same syllabus in 3 years
Nice content
I'm am old student of OKUAS. I'm sure she had fun there cos the school is on the mountain.
Woow, nice to meet you.
Yes, she mentioned it’s on the mountains, must have been really cold, yeah?
Nice one. Enjoyed the video 💕💕💕💕
Very interesting .
Nice experience
Lovely ladies!!!
Great job
Interesting
Lol. Love these ladies.🥰
I'm part of the four year SHS in Ghana.
I felt it was a waste of time.
We were just delayed.
Oh really? So, there was no use or?
Nigeria we are blessed
I just live the viber between you two. Keep it up.💕💕👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
In actual fact, she looks like a Ghanaian .. you two are beautiful 😍
She does?😁.
Thank you so much.
@@TheJumzTV very much
For your information, the 4 year SHS system in Ghana was introduced by the politicians and with a subsequent change in Government, it was reversed to 3 years.
Alright, good to know.
I also went to okuapeman and completed in 2008, there was this Nigerian girl, she's half ghanaian also but lived in Lagos, Mariama do u know her and pls which house were u in??? Nice seeing my fellow odehye
Nice to see Old students of OKUAS.
Kwadade here
Madanfo= friend
Ɛyɛ fɛ = it's nice
Pls which camera are you vlogging with? The quality is top notch.
Big Up Catherine! you have a lot of OKUASS students and alumni watching do you have your own channel?
The was good reason behind the 4years SHS
Yes, she speaks very nice Twi. Her accent in Twi was great.
Even the where you went school you cant even use one 2weeks to tour the whole region
Her twi tonation is good.
One good thing in Ghana is public schools are better than private. And Nigeria is the opposite.
I observed that public schools are the real deal in Ghana, which is really commendable.
Yes your accent is quite light like a Ghanaian’s
Very interesting. Excellent interview. She still has the Ghanaian accent
You noticed too? Yes she does o.
Thank you.
She is a very nice person.
Ur twi is ok 👍
Am also in OKUAS
Ghanaian start school early just that they spend a lot of years in kindergarten to prepare you well.that is why we are grown or older in lower and upper class as well as JHS and SHS.We don't tolerate poor performance. We also repeat student.
Oh interesting!!
Ghanaian, am not young though, but immensely enjoyed ur bantering. Engaging dialogue laced with funny personal experiences.
Jumz. It's always pleasant listening to you. Your contents are great and your voice is deep, clear and appealing to the ear. Keep it up
Thank you so much, warms my heart to read your kind comments.
Four years edu was a good program to usher students make the best choice of choosing course
Ohhh great Okuas😂😂
I really enjoyed this interview! Kudos guys
Aunty Jullllssss! Thank you ma, I’m glad you did. 🥰
Love this interview
I’m glad you do.
Thank you
Secondary school in Ghana, is just fun and dramatic
The 4yrs was to prepare the students for a better University experience. The lecturers were complaining the students coming from the 3yr long version were not up to University level. The NDC damaged Ghana education
your head can only operate NPP-NDC
@@maxk5831 🤣😂🤣tell this Gyimi Gyimi guy for me.

Very beautiful and interesting lady
I agree with you. 😁
We love Nigeria
Glad you do.
But mostly we don't use friends in sentence but rider family
Am enjoying your show 🎉🎉 very interesting Bravo 👏
Thank you.
Ghanaians are clever at producing varieties from one source. for example we have produced several foods from cassava.
I agree with you.
Really loved this😂❤️
Glad you did.
I have been in Ghana for almost 10 years and I can speak about 4 of their language I love Ghanaian their very welcoming people. But
That's lovely. Kudos to you.
But what ?
Friend means madamfo
Friends means menanfo
This girl still has the Ghanaian accent
I concur.
I like her taught on ghana 🇬🇭
I do too.
Ghana certificate has paid you off .
Yhh the spaghetti with milk is actually nice, it's like a breakfast for the rich. Like eating garri soakings
Interesting! I never knew.
They do SHS 4 is to develop job for the university graduate student that why but we didn't accept
The introduction of the four years came about because the government felt students were indirectly being forced to learn too much in less time that’s the three years, so they wanted to add one more year so the teachers can relax and teach the students and also people were going to the uni at a very younger age , so government wanted to increase the time spent at SHS , so at least before you enter uni, you’d have matured enough to be independent
Hi host
Hello dear subscriber.
The reason why it was 4 years is because most of the secondary school topics were many to learn within 3 years
That makes sense. So, does that mean the subject’s/topics were reduced to fit 3 years?
I’m enjoying this. Kudos to you both.
Your guest is exciting listening to
Yeahhh, she is.
Woy3 Ghana ni oooh,! Me nuabaa.💏💏💏💏💏👍
Please, kindly translate.
you are really a ghanaian oo! my sister
how ca you say Ghanaians eat wired food?
I wish this video was in English, I am curious.
The 4 year education policy a few years back was mainly politics/politrics by the JA Kuffour government who did not trust the SHS system to produce quality graduates.....it was a shame
Please, what was a shame? The 4-year system or which?
oh wait..........we were in the same class 😁😁😁😁 1Arts 1
Coolllll.
Friend in twi is 'madamfo' not charlie .
Good interview indeed.
Thank you.
Please, is it madamfo or adamfo?
My friend, m'adamfo.
Adamfo is just friend.
@@TheJumzTV me is me or my in English depending on context. Adamfuo is friend. Combining the two is m'adamfo as my friend
