- This is a rematch with the jbl boombox 3 vs wking t11 with the wking firmware updated to the latest firmware!!! it's a closer close call now, watch like and subscribe and let me know what you guys think
Nice match up. In a way, it's a David (WKing T11) versus Goliath (JBL Boombox 3) battle. Currently, the T11 is $172 on Amazon versus $499 for the JBL. Given the subtle differences in sound, I'd go with the T11 any time. Heck, you could buy almost three WKing T11's for the price of one JBL. And with two of those three T11's you could enjoy TWS pairing. I guess the bottom line is if money is no object and you want what is considered by many as the premium brand, then go with the JBL. If you want what some would consider to be the next best thing and have lots of money left over, go with the T11...with the 2.36 firmware update.
Jagist...a quick follow-up comment/question: Based on your YT videos of the T11, it looks like you play it horizontally (i.e. on its side) versus vertically. Maybe it's just me, but assuming its being played on a hard surface versus a carpet, I think it sounds fuller, richer, and deeper when played vertically. The difference is subtle, but I think I notice it. The T11 has two huge passive radiators on each end and when played vertically I think the floor may boost the bass from the bottom radiator a bit more than when it's played horizontally. Again, it could just be me who thinks that, but i thought I'd mention it.
I agree 100 percent, though I love my jbl boombox 3 so so much it's very much on the very expensive and premium side of the spectrum, I think it's a damn close battle but you do get slightly better sound and volume from the boombox 3, but the wking t11 is super close and for the price being able to almost buy 3 wkings, the choice is yours,
And as far as having the wking laying on its side I just compare it that way because the other speakers are also horizontal like the tribit and boombox, but when I have it vertical it does maybe have a little more thump to the bass 😁 I hope this helps, thanks for watching and supporting my channel!!

Can you make a long distance comparison video between the storm box blast, and the T11? If you do make a video on this or not, do you have any experience on which speaker carries the sound better across long distances?
Ones the snow clears a bit ill take them both back outside and test them, I did make a outside video with both of these battling check it out in my videos

is says on the back of the T11 the battery size is 5,200ma.. but ive heard its way bigger inside at around 15AH is that true?

I've heard others comment that the W King T11 resets to its default settings every time you turn it on, which would be very annoying if true. Did you happen to notice that?
I'm not sure, I can't honestly remember but you only have to click a button to change the eq so pretty easy even if you have to change it to bass eq every time you turn it on
I just bought my t11 from Amazon. How can i figure out what firmware it came with??
@joeurciuoli7419 I think the new ones come with the latest firmware but otherwise you need to hook it up to your computer to see
The secret to make the wking speakers sound best is have ya have android phone . With my note 20 ultra then 22u and now 23u you gp into soundsetting hit adapt sound amd under 30yrs old option it boosts the treble and for my eats the wking d9 x10 d10 t11 I've owned em all amd on their indoor or mor bass mode and that adapt sound thru an android phone it makes em tough to beat for sound

So first thing you have to do is contact wking and ask them to send you the t11 update which they will do and then you have to download the software they send and plug your speaker into your computer and replace your old software with your new software

Ii found the firmware address online. You need a usb to usb wire. And when you download the update the speaker needs to be OFF. 2.36 Sounds way better

How to update the firmware?
@@209rc7 you need to download the firmware and the firmware installer on to your computer then plug your speaker into the computer but with the speaker off and holding the volume up button when you connect it to the computer, then you just replace the old firmware with the new firmware

T11 speaker to make noise, the sound quality of the jbl boombox 3 is impressive and the bass is real and sophisticated but it costs too much
Both sound good, t11 for a budget boombox and the bb3 for better sound quality

I honestly have to disagree, the boombox sounds louder quite a bit than the t11 and because of this, in this video i made a conclusion that the t11 is basically a mini version of the boombox but without the mini. Basically, t11 is really good for the price and Jbl has a premium price with the product to show for it.
@Bryson Thiel ya so the boombox three is a touch louder and a bit more fine tuned and better sounding and for 500$ it better, ha ha, the T11 sounds great and competes well against the boombox and other speakers and the fact that it goes on sale for around 160$ to 200$ is insanely good, 2 or 3 T11 for the price of 1 boombox is a great value, and I can say 2 T11 would have no problem beating 1 boombox in my opinion

The firmware 2.36 Is quite amazing on the t11, but comparing them to the partybox 110 you have is a no Brainer the partybox is going to stomp the rest

none of these speakers have deep rumbling bass

I bought the jbl its here tomorrow I never had a extreme and 280 for the extreme 3 is to much I think
I keep the D9 tho really like it
The t9-2 looks so cheap and t11 aswell the jbl partybox App is so good you can turn it on and off from the Phone and so much more
@Curt Codein the jbl are all way good, the T11 firmware 2.36 is very good deep bass at least mine is performing very good, but as you said the w king are a little on the cheaper side material and build wise, the jbl is the most premium feeling bluetooth speakers around
