The first W-King X20 video where I could clearly hear the difference with JBL. Nice work!
I hardly noticed any difference, and with that, I would opt for the X 20 W-King in my future upgrades (I currently own the D 320), considering its price being almost half that of a JBL and other considerations. Taking this into account, along with the additions it has compared to the JBL Boom Box 3, especially in terms of wattage, the W-King is superior, boasting 250 watts of volume, while the JBL only has 130 watts.

Love my bb3 im using it full blast 3x a week at my 12hr shifts in the paintshop and still going strong
I am a huge JBL fan and have multiple products currently. I will say that W-king for the money sounds pretty good. I feel like the JBL has a clear brighter sound. The W-king has a more noticeable neutral sound. Both are a good pick one is more money.

Thatvhas to do with how they set up the neutral eq setting. You cad adjust and it has like 70watta rms more power

I like how the W-King has both the handle and carrying strap. And Jbl doesn't give the BoomBox a strap like the extreme. The BoomBox is heavier than the extreme and it will make the arm tired after a while. For the BoomBox, please put a Strap on it JBL.
I agree that's a good touch and like the skullcandy barrel also has that which looks nice and is very convenient
The BB3 runs out of gas at 80% while the W-King holds on all the way up to 100%. You should have extended the comparison to 100%, that would have been funny as heck. At 80% you really hear the harsh peaks at the crossover points. I have heard they fixed that for the $650 WIFI version...
I truly believe the W-King has better sound than the BB3 after about 70% or so, even without their odd 10 band EQ. This is the first W-King speaker that REALLY impressed me. It's like they jammed a Partybox 110 into a boombox.

That X20 best bang for buck out there. Boombox 3 sounds a lil better but X20 does get louder.

Hey man, before watching your comparison video i ordered the x20 because i love the x10 so damn much, in person ive made a man camp gym floor shake over an extreme 3, what are your thoughts on the x10?. I also literally was purchasing an x20 didn't know they made one. Thank you for that! Highs and mids in this case crisper on jbl, but price , battery, type c and overall quality, wking is my pick again i will soon have x20, x10 and the yeti cup sized one that was there first app speaker

Can you tell me if the W-King X20 has latency in its AUX IN, if you connect a musical instrument there, is it possible to play the instrument connected to the AUX IN, without latency? I know that this model already has a LINE IN for Guitar, but I would like to see if the AUX IN works without latency. I've already tried it on JBL and it doesn't work, JBL's AUX IN has a lot of latency and it's impossible to use it to play an instrument.
I saw a review of an older WKING and that has latency on the AUX.. So it might, yeah. It's probably not a full analogue passthrough, I bet it converts to digital and back to analogue.
What is the net weight of the x20? Is it heavier than the boombox 3?

Termo JBL has a clean sound
When i was in the philippines, i had a bluetooth speake that i ordered on lazada and and the brand is WKing. Its a rubberized BT speaker and the color is yello orange,and deymmmmm it sounded really great..i got it on a cheap price and im happy for it. But now i donno if it still there in our house. Coz its been 6yrs since i left philippines
I choose JBL everyday all day again and again and again.
The BB3 is better for indoor listening while it’s plugged in getting the full 180 watts.
The X20 is more well suited for outdoor use due to its detailed mids & highs & good clarity at the loudest volumes. I can say these things because I own both & tried them inside & outside.😅

The Xtreme 4 will not be available in the United States until June. I truly hate JBL for doing things like this.

W king X20 has way too much static/white noise only blocked out of played louder. Sometimes the static just gets louder. Anyone else having that problem? I literally just got a replacement from Asurion and new one does the same thing? What kind of $320 speaker sounds so staticky and crackles?

Yeah, same here. I own both as well & I’ve basically been telling people the same thing. Some of the JBL fanboys can be pretty obnoxious when you tell them that the X20 outperforms the BB3.
But it’s true. It really does.😅
For outdoor use, it’s better than the BB3.

I think comparing both would be better without the x20 bass boost on because I have the w king d 10 I thought it wasn’t loud cuz of the yt review but it gets pretty loud for me. With the bass boost on literally just the bass would get louder
Update: after I got the X20 I just learned I don’t really know nothing about speakers cuz X20 sounds almost like I’m in the concert but looking forward to buy some JBL so I can compare it myself. I mean I don’t need a lot of speakers but my credit card says otherwise.
The W - KING X20 sounds much better with the bass boost off & the 10 band EQ tuned properly.😅

JBL is great, I own several , but no bass, the bass sucks on the JBL, always have. If i want loud... i mean LOUD . . .I pull out the King . . . . if I want low and good, I grab one of my JBL's.

With a lil tuning i personally like sound of x20 better especially when listening to something like tedeschi trucks band or bands with ton of vocals and instruments goin on... not closed of like the bb3 just way more open and think thats due to the speaker layout no mids behind tweeters like bb3 but only place i think jbl might be better is almost unnoticeable and thats on deep bass other vids show they go toe to toe on how deep they get but what i also love is x20 doesnt need to be fn plugged in to get the best sound it sounds exact same plugged in or unplugged unlike the jbl bb3 its very noticeable whether the bb3 is or not plugged in ... never understand why companies do that lol especially wjen theyre one of biggest on planet will add again tho the wking sounds better without bass boost on hits just as hard if not harder with no muddiness with it off

i had the pb 310 and the bb3....bb3 > pb310 anyday....the treble sucked on the pb310

Bb 3 has only racetrack subwoofer and tweeters you can see that at no cover videos
The 2 tweeters are placed directly in the middle of the midrange drivers. It's on the JBL website.

They even show a diagram with the tweeter placed directly in front of the dynamic drivers. Those are two separate drivers, not one.

I'm sure you can tune the X20 to sound. A little closer to the BB3. I'm gonna go with the pound for pound here.Especially since w king isn't afraid to use big batteries I'm sure the X20 will outlast the BB3 Easily at around sixty percent! Thats literary my number 1 gripe with the BB3 atrocious battery life And this is coming from someone who mostly plays his speakers around 50 and 70%.

Factory default is not the wa6 to go with this Boombox3. It updates when you connect it to the app for it and the sound gets better.
If you want to step up with great outdoor sounds, get yourself the Diamondboxx L3 or more.

Who was the person at JBL who thought that it would not need a shoulder strap? Everyone knows that in today's society it is all about convenience and multitasking. Say for example if I wanted to carry the JBL while cycling from point A to point B?
Also JBL need to improve their app. At the same time I would still choose JBL because they have an infrastructure to repair/ service your item if something goes wrong.

Well, JBL doesn't have a bass boost. Out of the box, the company sets the sound to what the company presents as their "signature or best" sound. This is the way I demo ALL speakers being that a lot of buyers never even bother to download the app and EQ them.
