Today we celebrate our FATHERS. Let's remember to give thanks to our heavenly FATHER GOD for
giving them to us. GOD gave us our FATHERS so we could feel HIS love, comfort & be encouraged.

Word from GOD & right to the point faith building very encouraging message to our FATHERS.

Some of us never experienced love, comfort or encouragement from our biological FATHERS. At this time of the year thinking about this could be very discouraging but let us encourage you that
according to Psalm 68:4--5 in the Holy Bible it is written that,
***************** "GOD is the FATHER of the FATHERless." *********************
"4 Sing unto GOD, sing praises to His name: extol Him that rideth upon the heavens by His name
JAH, & rejoice before him. 5 A FATHER of the FATHERless, & a judge of the widows is
GOD in His holy habitation."
GOD is Faithful! GOD is Love! GOD is our Everything! He will never leave us alone but will be w/us &
will be our everything if we but put our trust in him & allow Him to love us in His own way. Aleluya!
The author of the poem below wrote it to a FATHER who adopted her & became her FATHER
for life. In her appreciation, she wanted to acknowledge him & to thank him for wanting her,
adopting her, loving her, taking care of her, comforting her, & encouraging her... GOD is so good!

FATHER, there are many nice things that I could have bought for you
But I wanted to give you something that you'd enjoy on this very special day
So, I sat & wrote this poem to speak & say what's in my heart that's true
While I was thinking what I would write, I stopped for a moment to pray.
While I was praying, I asked GOD to hold you, bless you & always keep you safe
I didn't ask Him to give you riches and I knew you wouldn't mind;
You told us GOD was all you needed, and that He's the reason for the smile on your face
Always made me feel so happy that you are my Father: very nice, humble, loving & kind.
I even remember when I'd cry and want to give up when times were tough
You'd tell me you love me & that tough times would come, and it would make me strong;
Then you would tell me to never give up, but to trust GOD, hold on, and to keep my chin up
Through you I learned when bad things come that GOD would show up and it wouldn't be long.
Today & always, I just want you to know that I'm truly thankful for all the things you've done
And no matter how many times I wanted to run & hide when you'd tell me to hold my head up high;
You taught me to stand firm, not to worry and to watch how soon my troubles would be gone
When you'd say I had to learn to lose before I could win was when I learned it was no lie.
Through you my dear FATHER I've learned not to doubt but to face all of my fears
To take each day as it comes even if I fall & to know that GOD will always lift me up again.
I remember when I'd be so upset, crying, with my frowned-up face & eyes filled with tears
That you'd smile at me, tell me it's going to be okay, then you'd wash away my tears w/your hand.
Thanks for all the dedication that you demonstrated & how many times you fought trying
To teach me how to stand up for what is right & with all my might get back up when I took a fall;
To help me understand that I shouldn't give up or be discouraged, or forever sitting down crying
And most of all for teaching me to love, trust GOD & know that you will never stop loving me at all.
