What is the best fabric to use for embroidery and embroidery hoop?

Can i use cotton fabric instead of these materials. I don't have these materials readily available

If you would like to create brooches and earrings in techniques I use in my tutorials, it can be hard to do it on cotton.
Cotton is too thin and soft to hold all the crystals and beads. However, if you want to make embroidery only with threads, then, maybe, cotton can be ok.
I would recommend good results for brooches to use materials I share in this tutorial :)
If you want to use cotton to cover the embroidery hoop and then to sew on the felt, than yes, it can be good option as well. 👌
