  • A new DJ controller enters the DJ equipment market in the form of the RANE ONE. DJs and Artists are offered the traditional feel of vinyl in one complete motorised unit comprising of 7-inch motorised turntable platters, many features, buttons and effects, and through its intuitive layout.
Creative routines can be unleashed through RANE ONE's adaptive performance pads, which allows for direct access to Hot Cues, Sampler, Slicer, Loop edits, Roll FX and Serato's very own progressive Scratch Bank feature.
The RANE ONE controller has a number of useful features including six durable radio-style effect buttons which are ideal for instantaneously triggering software FX combinations. The depth and beat parameter controls are perfect for fine-tuning the sound to add originality and authenticity to any mix.
The sound can be fully controlled using the 3-band EQ and high/low pass filters available on each deck. Additionally, the dedicated loop controls already enhance your creativity and DJ performances in original, professional and innovative ways.

It would be nice if Rane would come up either with an upgrade kit for the ONE to get 4 Ch or a Rane TWO/FOUR controller. Or a fully modular setup. Cheap base, expensive add-ons like screen(s), FX section, stand-alone stuff, tonearm, soundcard.
I know the 4ch stuff is passed to the DENON DJ brand, but many of the advanced scratch/battle people would go for a 4ch version. It's way more fun to play with the possibility to get another one or two tracks/decks involved than the regular A/B mixin' + jugglin'. And Denon is well.... Denon. I prefer the 2 x 8 pads layout and Rane quality!
Also to get a Rane SEVEN just like the Numark V7 were, just cut the player section off from Rane ONE, and sell it individually, so mobile DJ's can get 4 spinning platters and not the 4 x Twelve size and weight.
Oh, and since Serato is lack of STEM separation, M1 + Big Sur, Multi screen and external soundcard support etc., it would be nice to help out Djay Pro / VDJ with full support/mapping. There's no meaning to stick with one SW.

I haven't DJ'd for 15 years, but with the release of this product, I will be getting back on it. This unit is what I was waiting for, I want to be physically connected with the music I am playing, and don't just wanna look like a button pusher, with static jog wheels..................

What you have heard is pretty accurate. They aim to get the first shipment to us on Friday; if not, they will arrive on Monday/Tuesday.

Is there a legit Rane 70 mixer (sans hardware effects) crammed in there? Same components; same quality?

      @@SuperPussyFinger No man.

@@P4boot - I spoke with someone at Rane who claims that the One actually has the Seventy Two mixer’s components. But I have no way of verifying that beyond what I was told.
