Things To Know Before Visiting
Hola
Do you need a covid vaccine shot or the test to enter Peru?
No not required
@@IslandHopperTVhow about the mosquitoes, did you get any vaccines or take any medication for them before traveling?
@@Awareness_With_Dennis No, if you are only going to Cusco or Lima. but if you want to go to the jungle parts you need to take shots for yellow fever at least 10 days before going in... and to be safe i would take typhoid and malaria just to be safer.
Here's a FACT: Peru has many people that live inside of it.
No passport stamp???
good✌🏻🏙️
Coca is not cacao.
You make it sound safe, but I recently met a family that moved to Canada from Peru and they moved away from Peru because it is a very unsafe place to live. They say you can get shot by someone trying to do petty theft...so they say it is not a safe place to go out on the streets and much less not safe to raise children there. I don't get how you make it sound so safe.
I grew up over there is not that bad.
Entirely depends where you are. Peru is a massive country and it’s impossible to generalize every neighborhood in every city. My family is from Peru and I have personally never felt unsafe there
Go to Miraflores if you want to feel safer. In the mountains or jungles, you are safe when going on tours. In parts of Lima, its dangerous the same as NYC, Chicago, Miami, LA, etc... are. Now if you flash 100s, gold, diamonds, Rolex, etc.. then you are asking to get robbed. Its a 3rd world country....an amazing country but there is real poverty in some parts
