  • We started a pilot on Schiphol with two drop off machines where you can check in your own baggage. (Soon there will be 5 machines available).
When you have a maximum of 2 bags and no excess baggage, you can easily check in your bag and print your own self-sticking label. Check the video to see how this work.

was at Schiphol today & was waiting in a very long queue for this "service" which we thought would be faster than the usual human check in. We watched several people having a great deal of trouble with the machines & no one was available to help! One couple were there at least 15 mins! We noticed 2 humans at the end manning conventional baggage check ins so we went there. the clowns that designed this system obviously never tested it in real world situations! Top tip - just check in at the normal queues - far faster !

Looks good...Could I check my bags at say, 8.00am for a 16.30 flight? This would mean I could have a day out in Amsterdam without having to carry a suitcase around. Thanks

So, if your English is piece of shit, you can't self check in your baggage. :-D I absolutely don't understand what that second question means, but I guess NO is right answer. :-D
