He's from Queens N.Y., grew up rich, spoiled and white ! Others like him would be the only people he would understand, admire or have empathy toward. He doesnt see himself in those who aren't at least one or all of those because he thinks he's above those who are not. Therefore what he wants is all that matters and the little people are only needed to ensure that he has it. He wanted America and they sought to give it to him.
Cassidy Hutchinson was, of course, one of the core enablers. But I respect her for telling the truth about it now.

As a veteran, I legitimately cry in absolute shame every time I see Flynn plead the fifth; it's conduct most unbecoming of an officer of the United States Armed Forces. He lacks any sort of integrity, and his inability to support the peaceful transition of power is the most damning thing about his character. He is a discredit to our Department of Defense, to our commissioned leadership, and the very fabric of military culture.
May God have mercy on his soul because I will not if I ever meet him.

It was such a touching moment when the audience all stood and pleaded the Fifth together. ✌
Actually, that just shows how much people hate awkwardness. At first, no one stood or laughed or sang along - they just let Stephen hang there. But, once it got to the bridge the tension was too much and people started standing. Half held out, but eventually they all stood so as not to be the only ones sitting.

While this is true, let's not pretend that all of these people now speaking out are "Patriots". They had COUNTLESS opportunities to blow the whistle before this happened, they've had countless opportunities to do so since. It's taken force of law and the threat of subpoenas to get these people to suddenly discover their patriotism.
I'm glad she's speaking out now, but let's not go overboard and compare these people to war heroes just because they eventually relented and were FORCED to do the BARE MINIMUM.

President Trump never grabbed at the wheel or anything else she heard. Interesting hearsay is not allowed in court of law but okay for this bogus committee.

I'm still trying to get my head around Flynn pleading the fifth on the question if he believed in the peacfull transition of power. I never believed I'd see the day. The other fifths he took only underscore it. There's only one answer to that and that is Capital Punishment.
I think we both know that would only serve to make martyrs of the failed revolutionaries. Public mockery is truly the most fitting punishment for them. It makes us take it less seriously which is bad, but it makes potential second putsch participants afraid they'll be Colbert cucked on nationwide television. They're too fragile to take that sort of humiliation.

What did Hutchinson do all day long? Hid out, just like her boss, doing NOTHING. She knew from 8-9am that Trump planned to use the mob to forcibly prevent the transfer of power. And that he was gonna go down there to supervise it and assert his grip on illegitimate power. She knew all that ling before the attempt began. Did she ADVISE the police? The Secret Service? No, not even when she found out the mob were armed. She let Trump go out there and attempt his coup. She didn’t volunteer the truth even when it was reported as a “riot”, and Trump was shrugging it off.
A hero would have said something 18 months ago. Someone trying to rewrite their role in a dark history would say something now. It was no secret what the Trump administration was and she chose to be there.

It's my understanding that you can't use the fifth selectively. If you answer any of the questions, you can't claim the fifth for the others.
