king gizz's catalogue is so versatile that they do have these "pop gems" that if written or given to certain artists, would probably be on the charts -- like what theo said in the like a version interview. such a great cover by wolf alice! obsessed
Man their new album shows off their versatility beautifully. Omnium Gatherum covers so many genres it's insane.

It is a mystery to me why none of WA's songs made it to the triple j top 100. It seems to be an Australian thing. The Brisbane show was one of the best I have been to. The crowd adoration of the band was amazing
@@cherylb43 exactly! In Sydney Ellie kept saying she couldn’t believe how many people were there. I couldn’t believe there weren’t more people! But everyone absolutely loved them. Such a great atmosphere

This cover captures the emotional journey the song is written to invoke. The lyrics demonstrate the confusion about why people do things a certain way. The climbing and falling melody embodies the frustration and turbulence of trying to see what can be changed, what might work better. The casual sonic palette acknowledges the restraint displayed after the inevitable acceptance of defeat. I feel like this cover made those roles more clearly defined
