I'm going on a tour of England, Ireland and Scotland in late June into July so confused as to what to take this vlog helped a lot.

Scotland is a beautiful, rugged country, but it does rain alot.
Visiting my Grandmother Wilson age 81 and Great Grandmother Parker, age 101, both still say when it rains it's a bad hair day 😊
We loved Scotland but weren't prepared for how chilly it would be!! You had all the perfect items to wear and looked great in all of them!

I spent 2 weeks in Scotland about 20 years ago, visited about the same places you did. It was August and unusually warm and sunny, no rain! Loved StAndrews and Edinburgh, were lucky to get tickets to their Military Tattoo up in the castle. Amazing experience! Would love to go back❤️

You did such a great job staying fashionable in such unpredictable weather! Your wardrobe was both practical and visually appealing. I just got back from Europe last month and didn't fare so well - I tried to do carry-on for 3 weeks... made the best of it but definitely was not a fashion icon!

As I'm in southern England I really enjoyed this and can say you dresses like a Brit. Totally would have blended in. We have better weather in the south but it's much like the weather you had in early spring and lare fall. My CZcams lookbooks for late fall will almost be identical to this 😁. Lots of dark colours lots of layers and lots of scarfs. You sound like you had a great time. Yes our castles are dotted everywhere. Oh and if you went into a national trust property they sell fabulous scarves. Ask your sister in law to send you one for Xmas 😉
Great outfits!! Loved your jackets. I don’t have any rainproof jackets and I should! I have rain boots hunters but sometimes you just want rainproof footwear that doesn’t climb up your calf!! We have friends in Scotland, my daughters obsessed with the country bc of Nessie and Unicorns!! 😂xx-E

Oh goodness, I remember my trip to Scotland in 1996. I stayed there for 3 weeks and it was raining 2 weeks out of 3. Someone told me I was lucky with the weather. 🤣

Thank you! I went through my closet and determined what I needed/wanted from the Sale. The major items are a new trench coat and light colored winter coat. Some makeup items and jeans. Of course I'll share my haul on here. :)

Lol Melissa! It was at first but not many years later. There are actually a lot of Gators here where I live.
How did vacationing in Scotland compare to your tropical vacations? If you had to choose between European countries and tropical destinations which would you choose? I know my choice would be a tropical paradise with the perfect weather, the beach and the seafood!
