You can start by learning to cut things. That’s what I did. Now I’m learning to weld stuff together. Once you get started you’ll surprise yourself what you can do. 😅
This man has obviously been doing this for ages don’t go too fast if you look at his welding all he has for arc welding (electricity welding) is just a mask and gloves and not even that sometimes. Of course especially when your new you have to be very careful first time I welded the teacher stopped everyone to show us something I looked over and the kid in the both next to me started again. It was at a boys camp but I had to be rushed to first aid for flash burn hurt at a unimaginable level for 3 days. Be careful and keep it slow.

Gosh just came here from the first video I ever saw with the pool table the quality and pure skill I wish I could do something more then subscribe and like the pool table video had amazing editing and you arc welding with just gloves or sometimes with just one glove shows how amazing your work is and the amount of dedication like I’m planning on going to college for medicine but my second choice has always been anything in the engineering fields I love these vids

Take two bicycle bottom cranks (complete second set, with bearings and bearing pod), weld them apart at about... 20~30 cm distance in a straight line, with the second crank backwards from where the usual one is.
Install two sets of pedals, preferably the kind of pedals that have removable grips. Fabricate two feet supports for each side so that they sit between the pedals using the mounting screw bosses where the grips would've been and voila, you have another type of elliptical bike.
