Walking the abandoned ruins Gwynfor gave us an insight in to the building & structures, equipment & machinery and also the lives of the people that worked in the once massive industry...

Many thanks for putting this up. I remember Dr Gwynfor Pierce Jones teaching biology in Pwllheli. He kept his drawings/diagrams of quarry machinery up on his wall by the blackboard. You can find his doctorate thesis online, very informative.

this quarry was mi play ground wen i was younger and there was a lot more to see back then am 64 now
