✅Ingredients
• 1 cup salted butter softened
• 1 cup brown sugar tightly packed
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup macadamia nuts coarsely chopped
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
3️⃣ Add in eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
4️⃣ Stir in baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix until it forms a nice dough. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts with a spoon.
5️⃣ Take 2 tablespoons of dough and use your hands to quickly shape into a dough ball and place on the prepared cookie sheets, 12 cookies per pan. This recipe makes 24 cookies total.
6️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until just kissed with brown. Do not over bake.
7️⃣ Remove pan from the oven and let cookies cool on the pan for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
Freezer Instructions:
This cookie dough can easily be frozen. For best results, shape into balls and freeze on a baking sheet. Once frozen, transfer to a resealable plastic freezer bag for long term storage, up to 3 months. When ready to bake, place cookie dough onto a baking sheet and let thaw while the oven preheats. Bake approximately 12 to 15 minutes.

Thank you Brooke! I live in U.S. but have used many European recipes. The recipes are much more reliable this way!🙏🏼
@@cathrinewhite7629 no problem :) they sure are! these cookies were perfection
Baked them like 8 times already for my family 😊 My daughter love it with milk. Deliciosos!! Thank you 🙏
Tonight was leftovers from the frig...but I surprised everyone with these delicious soft macadamia nut cookies. These are my husband's favorite cookie. Therefore he wasn't to depressed from eating leftovers, once I pulled these out.
Thank you.
So yummy looking! Another tempting recipe that I will most certainly try! Made y’all’s cinnamon rolls this morning!
Made these last night and they were a hit
Hi Caitlin,
I have a quick question. In your video, you said 1/2 cup of butter. On the Stay at Home Chef website, I looked up this recipe and it said 1 cup of butter. Is that correct? I just want to make sure.
Love love your recipes thank you so much for bringing them great job absolutely delicious
I love you and your recipes so much!! There so delicious and very helpful 😋 I always use your recipes cause they're so amazingly delicious
Mmmmm! Looks delicious!
Love these cookies! Turned out absolutely delicious. 😋 I made the chocolate chip recipe last week family Loved them 😊 your channel is by far the best recipe channel out there, your recipes are easy to follow and always as delicious as they look.Nice job 👍🏼 thank you for sharing them with us. 😊 BTW my oven looks the same, just means we love to cook.😉 although I didn’t think your oven looked that bad 🤷🏻♀️ Lol, keep up the good work!!
I made your recipe today
They are delicious.
They are so good they might not make it to my friends house 😂
Probably better to use your flat beater for dough instead of the wire whip which is for batter.
Looking so delicious thank you so much
I love this recipe and more importantly love that her oven looks just as used as mine😂
Oh gosh Macadamia nuts are my favorite. 👍❤❤❤😋
So is it 1/2 cup butter or 1 cup? List says 1 cup
These look great 😊
Very delicious
Yummy!
This is my favorite cookie.
Is it half a cup of butter or 1 cup? The written recipe is different than what you say in the video.
For that amount of flour, I would use 1 cup (2 sticks) butter. Check against another cookie recipe to see if you agree.
Thank you!
Yum Yum Yum! Thank You!
Does it matter if I use light or dark brown sugar? I didn’t see either specified in the recipe.
Very very beautiful
I followed this recipe. I did everything, but when I combine the egg in the vanilla extract with the brown sugar and the sugar and the other things, it came out like a liquid. I do not know why.
Is salt on top of salted butter not too much salt?
Hey sweet young lady please tell me where I went wrong 😔 I did your recipe to a T but my mix was firmer than yours and my cookies did not spread like yours😭
It sounds like you added too much flour. This can happen if you measure your flour in a way that compacts the volume, causing you to use more.
@@Thestayathomechef OK that makes sense because I just barely learned today how to measure by another video I watched that 1st he gave instructions on not packing your flowers so tight... But it was too late I had already done my cookies lol😆 But thank you now that I learned not to pack my flower in the one cup measurement I think I'll do better next time. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer I love the stay at home chef recipes the best

❤❤
I just made this recipe following the video. And they didn’t come out right because in her video she said one stick of butter. In her written recipe she writes two sticks of butter. That was a waste of some expensive ingredients. 😢

🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻
Just for you to know , in Europe we don’t measure in cups, we don’t o what that means , except maybe in Uk , shame. Can’t make this
Indulge 😉
but she put int TWO half cups butter sticks.
It is 1 cup! I did say the incorrect amount.
Whats the purpose of that much salt...?🙄
You should have thought about CLEANING your oven first before baking something your oven is NASTY !
It’s almost like we cook in it more than your average home use! So yes, it does indeed tend to look more like a restaurant oven than your standard home oven that gets used only on occasion.
What a rude comment
Please don't be rude to this sweet young lady! She's just showing us a great recipe and the least you could do is show your appreciation. I don't see you making any cooking videos now do I?
You can tell that Gloria has never baked a day in her (its) life, probably an entitled brat that doesn't realize that her (its) crybaby personality is the only thing "nasty" here.
You should see mine lol I love to cook to!! 😋
