Just got my AT2 installed and it is most definitely LOUD AF! Lol. Good loud but maybe a bit too much for the street without consequence. Going to place an order for the DB killer tomorrow. Still sounds great with it in just more tame at lower RPMs and idle. 🤘🏼
Sound good, what is the ground clearance in front of the exhaust, I have the LV race and in hard riding the exhaust scrape. I am planning to get the Yoshi hopefully it will be a better clearance I will appreciate if you can tell me. Thank you
Had one on my fz07. I actually liked the tone better with the silencer installed. Quite tame at low rpm, thus keeping the cops off the radar. It was there when stomped on. Going to redo it all on my 2021 MT09 SP. Love the almost out of the way look of it.👍👍🤙
Good question. Unfortunately I didn’t take a decibel reading before and after the db reducer install. I‘ve removed the exhaust since posting this video so I won’t be able to help with this one, my apologies. Thank you for the question!

Great video I’m still looking for the perfect exhaust something with a nice tone. Not to crazy loud still haven’t found anything yet. I love the discreet look of the stock exhaust I would like something like it.
I ride maybe 1 to 2 hours a day maybe for like 2 days a week. Do you think it will be way too loud with the db killer on? Considering I dont have the time to ride long hours
I would say that it’s too loud to ride with for that long, even with the db killer installed. I’d recommend getting earplugs if you do decide to run the exhaust.
I usually buy akra but I liked how the Yoshi looks. The yoshi sounds amazing but it is too loud on the bike, this is probably why akra designed theirs further back. I love loud exhausts but it’s too much for me, I will be getting the db killer, it’s a shame it’s not included.
I have the opposite problem. My Yoshi is super quiet! I just put the AT2 on my z900. It sounds almost the same as the super quiet stock exhaust did. I was hoping maybe there was a baffle in there already. I guess not. Disappointing.
@@TylerCharest Yeah I emailed them to see if maybe they were forced to make changes due to emissions nonsense or something. Hoping maybe a brand new one needs to be worked in a little before it sounds right? Wishful thinking probably haha. At least it’s slightly better than stock, and looks better. Definitely not $1000 better lol.
@@thatstheguy07 You might be right about them having to make some adjustments. It was ferociously loud before. Unfortunate that it's not loud enough now!
That’s strange, my kickstand position didn’t change with the exhaust installed…you may want to double check the bracket positions…or check to ensure you have the right installation hardware.
I was hesitant to order a DB killer for a long time, but if you like to ride 3-5 hours on the bike a day, it is a must buy

I agree with you. A really loud exhaust is tiring after a while.
Thanks for this. I've been looking for information on the loudness of this exhaust and whether a db killer makes a difference. Cheers
I’m happy it was useful! Cheers
Why dont you try ins-27-k? They have two versions
I found it to be a great balance with the db killer installed on mine. Definitely didn't need earplugs
Agreed. It's nice to be able to ride without earplugs again! I still pop them in for longer rides, but at this point they're "optional."
the kit for the zx6r comes with the db killer included, not installed but included in the box

I would think its the same size as stock. I never had that scraping experience. Maybe look at your rear suspension is soft?

It’s hard to beat the sound of the FZ07…a real thumper! I hope you’ve been enjoying the SP! 🤙 stay safe out there 🦾
Great video and instructions. Thank you!
Glad it was useful!
Sorry, I would like to ask what the decibels are when removing the silencer plug and installing the silencer plug.

Did your exhaust make your kickstand sit really far over? The stock mounting place vs yoshimura spot? My kickstand is really far over now

It’s definitely hard to find something that captures the discreetness of the stock exhaust! I hope you find the right one 👌 stay safe out there!

Just bought an AT-2 for my Street Triple and it came with the DB killer, I guess they got the memo that this setup is loud!
Hi! I don’t see anything like yours available for sale. What is the part number for it?
I don’t see it on yoshimura’s website.
Thanks
i installed the db killer after a 3 mile test ride, this exhaust is far too loud with out it. obviously my opinion and yes im old.
hi, I bought the same exhaust but I don't know where to pass the wire for the o2 sensor, where did you pass it through?
Over the top of the radiator and down under the right side cover.
Can you tell me the model number of the db killer?
I am in the process of having that same pipe installed on my bike right now, the exhaust doesn't come with the db killer installed already?
When I bought mine, it didn't come with the db killer. Had to buy separately and install.
3+ hrs ride eventually a bit tired and annoying 😂
Will be perfect just to commute one hour more less
Does the AT2 not come with the db already installed?
It comes without the db. You can order it at the same time, but the db reducer is a separate part 🤷♂️
Hi! Is it still louder than stock with db killer?
Hey Roman! It's definitely louder than stock, even with the db killer...significantly louder.

That’s very surprising! Maybe they’ve made some adjustments to the exhaust system 🤷♂️

You have to do a full system, Theres a seconday muffler called a bread box and the Cat. both very restrictive
Oh i see how you were wearing peotection and still thought it was too loud? Damn youre making me nervous ive ordered a racing spark exhaust
Lol my ears might just be more sensitive at this point 🤷♂️ the bike does sound amazing with an exhaust. Yours might not be too loud. Fingers crossed!
hi suzuki s750 at2 use dB kiler INS-20-K?
Hmmm, I’m not sure 🤔 sorry
@@TylerCharest OK🤣 I can try
Yes it is. Already confirm with yoshimura usa & bought it

I installed the same exhaust and it doesn’t affect the kickstand at all. What is your exact problem?
