You can easily make this beautiful baby set smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way as this tutorial (see below) with same stitch count, different yarn weight and same number of rows. Love this set so much! I have a whole cedar chest full of baby things I have crocheted from your videos. Now I am putting things in a tote too. I had someone tell me " that baby is not going to be able to wear all that stuff". My thought was I have boy and girls things, and they were mad I wasn't giving them any. Lol. I do gift to special people in my life, but all the stuff I keep is for future great grand babies.

I love this set, we are coming into Summer, so I could do it in Bamboo, that’s lovely& soft. I might make one size bigger, my granddaughter is growing so fast. I’ll start with the overalls, then the cardigan, I’ll have to as the daughter in law if she would like me to do the hat. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. Can we wash the crochet set in warm water with a little detergent to keep it clean. Because of handling and dust around. Please advise I will be grateful. Thank you. Waiting for your response
Yes, but I usually don’t. I include a card with washing instructions based on the yarn I used and just have the parent wash it with the detergent of their choice.
If I’m giving this as a gift, should I block it or wash it before giving it to someone? I don’t have a steamer and just started crochet.
I think this will depend on lots of things. I personally don’t because I don’t have any pets. I simply include a little card with washing instructions and have the mom wash it first with the detergent of her choice since now a days parents prefer washing in special baby detergents due to allergies and so forth.
