    Excellent presentation and step by step training. I love how she said "If you don't know how to this " and proceeded to show you. This makes the user feel comfortable right away progressing further into the training. Also, her voice is very calm and soothing. Well done. Keep the videos coming.

    Great job... Two things I want to say. First being you can go to any individual track on easy drummer scroll down to multi-channel and it will set everything up as well as Tom's. Second it would be dope if you could do a video putting together all the parts of the song if you do that. General information about layering the guitars panning etc.

      @LadyAudioPodcast  Před 2 lety +2

      We also have Logic Pro 7 on an old G5, and although the menu items look slightly different, this systematic approach works. I mean, unless your comment was meant to be sarcastic because I'm running an older version of Logic Pro X in this video. :-) I hope to get a newer system and do another video very soon!

    • @leswhite3524

      @@LadyAudioPodcast I sure loved my old G5! In fact, SL/ Logic 9 does the trick for me so long as I can run the software. I boot with El Capitan for internet but Option/boot SL for workstation use. I may have to do some fancy copy-paste trying this since I've already recorded my drums with ezd2 triggered by my e-kit. I want to try sidechaining my kick and bass guitar and need separate tracks to do it.

    • @adreamuponawake
      @adreamuponawake Před rokem

      Im having the same problem. I’m using EZDRUMMER 3 and I don’t know if that’s the issue or not. The one thing they arent showing you is when you create all these outputs, the mix becomes very loud. When you drag those tracks from EZDRUMMER to logic, it already has a well balanced and mixed version of the drums. Really, all i want is to fine tune the bass and snare but i noticed those became so loud i reverted back to the original track.

    she said "or whatever"! awesome video btw great help with starting a template. now, how do I get each individual drum midi on their own channel?

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  Před 11 měsíci

      Hmm, there isn't really a need for that as the audio goes through their individual channels. But I see what you mean... the midi is just on the one track with the piano roll displaying each drum on its own lane. But for visuals, it seems kind of weird that the midi for each drum doesn't go to its own track. I've gotten used to it being on the one track, tho. It's easier for me to edit the drums this way. But if you wanted to put the midi for each drum on their own channels, I guess you'd have to copy and paste each lane from the piano roll into their respective tracks. I'm not sure if there's an automated way of doing this task.

    • @xXRyRyXx7
      @xXRyRyXx7 Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@LadyAudioPodcast I would do that for collaboration purposes. Say I wanted to send the kick track to a friend, it would be nice to have that ready to go right away. But I see what you’re saying. I just don’t see the point of having the tracks on the workflow (or whatever) when they’re already on the mixer.

    Great video
    Can you show me how to do this exact thing but with UA Luna daw?

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Glad you liked the video. Right now, there isn't a way for Luna to do multitrack (that I know of). UA is well aware of the demand from what I've read on their forums. There are a few videos out there that bounce the midi to audio and then they put the audio on their own audio tracks. However, I find that method too strict for me, I frequently want to change or experiment with the snares or kicks after I start mixing. So, for my own projects, I just put EZ Drummer on a few tracks... one for Kick midi, one for Snare midi, one for Hi Hat midi, and another for the rest of the kits midi. From there I can send those tracks to a bus for adding tape or compression on the whole kit. Hope this helps.

    It still records all on one track is this ok? Was it supposed to put each individual drum
    On seperate tracks?

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  Před 2 lety +2

      Great question. Yes, all the midi will look like it's on one track, the kick drum. But you'll find that when you solo the various drums, like the snare for instance, you'll hear just that one drum.

    • @marshallnoise3557
      @marshallnoise3557 Před rokem

      @@LadyAudioPodcast I am also certain there is a way to drop each of the midi files down to each track, but that's outside the scope of your video. If you think about it, keeping it all in one midi track just makes it easier to work with when re-arranging the drums. The fact you can mix each instrument separately is the key here.

    How do you make the Aux track Audio once it in logic?

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  Před rokem +1

      Do you mean like making it a stereo track with audio files instead of midi notes? There are a few ways to do that. Try doing a search for "convert midi to audio logic pro x" - that might give you the answers. From what I remember, you have to make sure your default bouncing settings are set up correctly... but that was several years ago. It might be different now. Hope this helps!
