Knowledge does not equal security in Me…

Something is dropping this week 👀🥰🙌🏾 can you guess what it is!?
I’ve always made sure to “know things”. It’s been a survival mechanism for me. When I don’t know something, I don’t feel secure. A major part of my relationship with the Lord has been in the “unknown”. There’s so much to see about Him and if I’m being honest, so much that we’re left in the dark on.
I remember Him telling me…. I haven’t given you revelation because you use that revelation to feel safe in knowledge, but you don’t practice that knowledge in your life. What good does it do you to know something without experience.
This is why many times people with 8 years of experience will get the job over someone who has a bachelors degree. 4 years of studying with no hands on experience… or 8 years of being waist deep in something changes things…
He said to me, “Possessing knowledge makes you feel safe. You can know all day.. but will you risk feeling safe to see what you know, and experience it up close? 🌱
If you place safety in the security of knowledge, you are still placing security within the mind. Knowledge is contained within the mind but your mind is not always a safe place. Here you exercise safety in something you possess.
All of this is for you. Not to prove anything to Me. Will you still say blindly I’ll follow…. If you never receive another revelation or more knowledge about Me?
Will you say, “I’ll exercise what I know and find safety in KNOWING Him personally even if it only feels like I know Him a little”…
Are you here to gain knowledge of Me for safety, for security? To show off to others? To seem well versed? Or do you just want to know Me for Me?”

So good what a insight into the mind of a believer we have so many questions but until we seek him and quiet our thoughts....he gives us the knowledge we are seeking. Why are you seeking me?
